This guys are amazing with kids, my 9 year old daughter and my 8 year old son had never surfed and were scared at the begining, but once they were in the water, they had a great time, if we would have had more time in Waikiki we would have done it at least 2 times at the request of... More

They take you to a protected cove where the water is waist high. I took the group lesson ( maxed out at 8 people) but still got personal attention. The instructor, Gerald, gave each surfer tips on what they were doing right/wrong and was very patient. They got this 44 year old woman up on her first time ever surfing.... More

I used another local company for my first surf lesson and it was fine, but then I gave Kai Sallas a try as well because they had really good ratings online. I can see why. they give really solid instruction, are super enthusiastic and also professional. My instructor was Barak and I can't say enough good things about him. He... More

I had a great time during my first surf lesson with Gerald. I booked online the day before and showed up a few minutes early to fill out the paperwork. Our lesson in the shop was quick and efficient and then we were off to a quiet section of beach near Sans Souci. Gerald was great at giving encouragement and... More

My family had the the best time surfing with Pro Surf School during our Hawaii vacation. From the moment the surfari van picked us up at the Aulani resort, the instructors were very welcoming and informative. We drove to a seculded beach and given safety tips and instructions on how to stand up and enjoy riding waves. My 11 &... More

These guys are the best, we had kids under 11 and they had the time of their life (so did their parents)! Good waves all the time, have a camera-guy as well so don't worry about the pics. About $40 per person to have them do it...well worth it. Can't say enough about this excursion.

"thanks so much for teaching me how to surf. Loads of fun. Waves were easy to ride in that location. Felt sad at all times. It was great." as per my 13 yr old.

I took lessons from Kai with my 14-year-old son, and we had a blast. Kai's surfari shuttle picked us up from the resort and took us to a great secret surfing spot for beginners. The beach was a rock beach, but they had reef shoes for participants. I was surprised to learn that they even had some in my size... More

My wife and I had a blast with our first surfing experience. This surf school gives you the tools and confidence you need to know that it is not so hard to get on a board and catch a wave. Thanks for the experience!

My 12-year old son and I took a group lesson with Kai and his instructors last week. It was the best part of our entire trip to Hawaii! We got up on our boards right away and couldn't stop smiling. The focus on safety was especially important, from the lesson to the location. We want to go back to Hawaii... More
