This tour was the best thing we did while in Hawaii. The tour guide "Duke" was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area and had been conducting these tours or with his parents conducting these tours most of his life. Plus, Duke mapped out a great tour for us to take on the motorcycle rented the following Monday. Great... More

I've had this company's website bookmarked for almost a year, and when the dates for a HI visit were firmed up, this was the first reservation I made. The 'Home of the Brave' tour did not disappoint: It exceeded my expectations. With these kind of all immersive experiences (almost seven hours) a lot comes down to your tour host, and... More

Great way to experience pearl harbour. The tour takes you to army bases that you cannot access on other tours. Very informative.

Even though it rained for a large portion of our tour, we still had a great time. Our guide, Olav, was extremely knowledgeable and kept our attention the entire tour. I don't know how he remembered all the stories, dates, and names but he made everything very interesting. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the... More

As I sit here today wearing my Wiki Waki Woo t-shirt (purchased at their museum at the end of the tour), I can't help but recall the vast amount of wisdom, knowledge, and information provided. Olav, Duke and the others are enthusiastic guides and their ability to recount the details leading up to Dec. 7, 1941, the day itself, and... More

(Actually, Home of the Brave doesn't operate on weekends, so in order to get close to Dec. 7th on a given year, I might have to go the Friday before.) I've met many wonderful friends through these tours, including the Tomlinson family, Olav Holst and Bob Anderson. The tours open your mind to a fascinating, important, bygone era. Where else... I wish I could give this one 100 stars. Went to HI for our 25th anniversary in April 2014. This was the absolute best day. Of course Pearl Harbor portion was sobering and awing, I have to say that the way the Home of the Brave museum brings the day home, is just amazing. It was long day, and to... More

Last December, I took my 5th Home of the Brave tour, and it just never gets old. My sister, a first-timer to Hawaii, was with me and the tour is about the only part of the trip she talks about. I've had tours with both Duke and Olav, and they are both knowledgeable and personable. Glenn and Janet are great... More

Our guide was great, really knows his stuff, the bus had video clips and interesting pics. This was our longest tour while here but we learned so much. The brewseum at the end was awesome! I highly recommend this tour if you want to really dig into the history of WWII.

In addition to being a great escort for our full day tour of the Oahu WWII sites, our tour guide Duke enriched our experience with movie clips, documentary footage, and terrific anecdotes that brought the period to life for us. ->>the 2nd bombing of Pearl Harbor, the midget sub officer who ended up leading Toyota Brazil, the embassy spy...You'll have...
