Olav was an excellent tour guide and.has a great deal of knowledge about Pearl Harbor and the history leading up to the attack. My only disappointment was at the Home of the Brave Museum there was not a bartender on duty so that I could sample one of their beers.

To participate in a tour with a small group was definitely a plus. The early start was soon forgotten as we visited Fort Shafter for the raising of the colours. To see aspects that no other tour provides was very special. The commentary between stops was relevant, entertaining and informative. Pearl Harbour was excellent in itself, but when seen in... More

The tour started early but that's so you can watch presentation of colors at Ft Shafer. Beautiful! We saw all the spots affected on Dec 7, 1941. Wheeler Air Base , Pearl Harbor. Olav was our guide and he was great. He is so knowledgeable! Ask him anything. Lunch was great! It was a buffett. The tour on Pearl Harbor... More

Awesome tour! Our 2nd time with Olav, he is very knowledgeable & a gracious tour guide. Pearl Harbor wonderful, fortunate to meet 2 of the 8 survivors of the Pearl Harbor attack. Definitely a must do.

This tour was recommended by a family member. It starts at 5:45 am! Staying on the North Shore, we were concerned about getting up in time to drive the hour to Honolulu, in time for the early start. We discovered that it worked out perfectly on our first full day in Hawaii as our body clocks had not yet adjusted... More

What a tour. Olav, our guide, did an amazing job. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. Saw things other tours don't get to show you. Heard stories that you normally don't hear. Great visit at the museum, the collection of memorabilia that they have on display was donated by veterans and family of vets. What an amazing display!

I have taken this tour twice and I highly recommend it! I am a "student" of American military history (mainly 20th century), and have had the fortunate opportunity to visit many battlefields and other important sites in Europe and Asia. I took the last week (21 July 2015) with my 17 year old daughter. Six years ago I took this... More

This is tour was above our expectations. We visited military bases, three wonderful museums, Pearl Harbor itself. Our guide had excellent knowledge.

I traveled to Honolulu recently with my 16 year old son and our same age exchange student from France. We only had one day to devote to a tour and boy did we pick the right one. Our guide Duke was amazing and answered all our questions about anything related to the island and our stay. In addition to being... More

Overall, the tour was very good and our family learned a lot about the events of Pearl Harbor. It was very helpful to visit the many sites as we listened to the story told by Duke, the owner's son, and it allowed us to visualize the events that occurred on December 7, 1941. We would recommend the tour but be... More
