We booked a lesson for my son, and Jason made him feel very safe and comfortable. And it only took the 2 hours to get him surfing!! so it was well worth the money :) He came back the day after to rent a board for him self, and all the other instructors were all very helpful.

Scheduled a semi-private lesson with my daughter(18) while on vacation. This was the first time for both of us. We could not have asked for a better experience. Kenny was our instructor and he was fantastic. It was hard to tell who was having a better time, us or Kenny. The instructions were great and we were both able to... More

Top rated on tripadvisor for a reason. Me and my friend signed up for a semi-private lesson and had a good and enjoyable 2 hours of surfing. Our instructors were very clear and concise during our land demo and out in the waves. Well worth the money!

Surfing with Kenny was awesome! What a crazy and lovely guy! My wife and I were thrilled and full of adrenaline. We come back on the last day of our honeymoon to rent the boards. My suggestion: Catch the wave! If not you miss the greatest experience ever. You can not get more Hawaii!

We were a group of four, with two adults, one teenager and one 10 yr. old boy, who were instructed on July 9th. None of us had any prior experience. from the moment we were warmly greeted upon our arrival until we came back to their "camp" after the surfing, we had a great experience. Everyone in Gone Surfing were... More

We chose GSH based on these TripAdvisor reviews and were rewarded with excellent service and kind teachers. Our 8-year-old daughter was nervous about surfing alone, so Keoni came to the rescue and gave her a tandem lesson (she rode on the front of the board while he surfed) that she'll never forget. The other four of us in our party... More

My husband, myself and our 3 boys (age 10, 12 and 15) took our first ever surf lessons with Kenny, Trevor and Theo. They were all great. Our older two boys and my husband and myself worked with Trevor and Theo and our youngest had a private lesson with Kenny. Everyone was so patient and made us feel very comfortable.... More

Kenny was our instructor, and he had only been working there a week, but he did an amazing job. He spent about 10-15 minutes giving us some instructions on land, then we went out on the water. The hardest part was paddling out, but he helped us with that too. He was so fast at paddling out, and he pulled... More

We took Semi-Private lesson with myself and my 2 daughters(15 and 13) first week in June 2015. Theo was our instructor and he was awesome! Was a bit windy and he had to help the kids paddle out a few times so he got his workout in! Great time! Would do again and recommend to anyone wanting a great first... More
