Great 2 hours catching Waikiki long long long waves guided by Trevor from Gone Surfing. Excellent experience. Worth every penny. Safe and exhilarating. Simple last minute booking on a Sunday afternoon. Next day, I realised that I had some muscles that I was not even aware of before. Do plan for a massage as a follow-up activity 😊😎. Thanks Trevor.

My husband had his first surfing experience, and described it as unforgettable. He arranged a private 2 hour lesson via the company's website, and from beginning to end, the process was absolutely seamless. His instructor was Theo, an obvious pro who took great care in instructing a beginner. He was patient, friendly, professional, and interesting, with great knowledge of the... More

I went out with Gone Surfing on March 6. They respond only via phone call, so it was a bit difficult to book an appointment during a busy vacation. Eventually I booked with them and met at the designated location on the beach. It was my 2nd time surfing, and the waves were absolutely dead that afternoon; no other surf... More

My husband and I took a semi private surfing lesson with Gone Surfing Hawaii. The lesson was a highlight of our trip to Honolulu. Our instructor, Kenny, was great. We both got up on our first wave. Kenny helped us paddle out to the waves so that we wouldn't get tired and helped push us into the waves. By the... More

Since I was in Hawaii I decided that I should give surfing a try, I had no previous experience so only expected to fall off the board (a lot). After 15 minutes careful land instruction with Theo we headed out. I was amazed to "catch" a wave first attempt. The next few attempts were not so great, Theo pointed out... More

I had my first surfing lesson every with Gone Surfing Hawaii with Kenny and he is a great instructor. Follow the four steps, as Kenny stated, and you will be up! I followed the four steps and I was up on not only on my first attempt but every attempt. After getting the feel of the waves I was able... More

This was the 2nd time my partner and I had tried surfing. The waves were a bit more intense than that of the ones we tried in Bali, but Kenny helped us through the whole way. It was awesome for him to pull us out into the waters a little further from the shore to catch the better waves. I... More

We had a wonderful time with Gone Surfing Hawaii. We had a 5 yr old and a 6 yr old who each had an instructor with them on their boards. My husband and I went out as well & shared an instructor. The kids had an absolutely amazing time and we also had a great time knowing they were so... More

My friend and I had a lesson with Trevor today and truly had a blast. Surfing wasn't even on my "must-do" list, but I went out to support my friend who really wanted to try and I'm so happy that I did. I read the reviews where many guest said that it was not hard at all with the help... More
