Took 1 hour to go up and under 1 hour to come down. Do not attempt this unless you are fit. My legs were in pain days after the hike. This was very difficult, it is 100 times harder than doing the Diamond Head Crater hike.

The view at the top is amazing! But getting there is a challenge even for those who are in shape. Bring water, a strong heart, willing legs and a camera! The bridge is a little scarey if you are afraid of heights, but the rest of the trail (stairs) are fairly easy to navigate. The day we went there were...

Once at the top, the views of the crater, Hanauma Bay and Waikiki are exceptional! Take your time going back down the steps too, especially...

My husband and I did this hike on a recent morning while staying in Waikiki. We're a pretty active couple, but it looked very daunting upon approach. It was difficult, I'm not goign to lie, but we made it up in less than 30 minutes...several folks told us it took at least 45, so I think we handled it pretty...
