We stayed at the Hale Kao which is next door to this beautiful park. Everyday we walked thru it, and it is simply gorgeous. It is beautifully manicured, and landscaped. It is located right next to beautiful Waikiki Beach. It has a picnic area and is open to the public.

visiting Fort DeRussy while staying at the Hale Koa is a short walk next door literally. My grandchildren really enjoyed all the displays.

The US ARMY opens this park to the public for an enjoyable day of swiming, relaxing, or having a picnic. It is free and you can not beat that. Well kept and very clean.

Fort DeRussy, in the heart of Honolulu on Waikiki, is most attractive, and grounds exceptionally well kept. The Hale Koa Hotel is actually on Fort DeRussy, as is the Army Museum.

This park is located at the end of Waikiki and far enough away from the shopping and tourists to lend a little relaxation and peace to your stay.

Love this beach! Part of the Hale Koa Resort. And there's a bar that makes the best Mai Tais on Oahu (besides my own)!

A well maintained park in which you can just get away from the hustle and bustle of the beach and downtown Honolulu. Try this - walk along the beach starting just North of the Hilton Lagoon proceeding South along the beach to Fort DeRussy Beach Park. You will understand the contrast and ultimately value the smart choice the federal government... More

sometimes the beachfronts along hotel row from Outrigger Reef all the way to Kapiolani Park can get plenty crowded. The stretch west from Reef to the Hilton is very pleasant, restrooms available, a little stand for drinks, and some reasonable food down in the vicinity of Hale Koa. There are some places along the way to grill, and young people... More
