This little park at the edge of Waikiki is a great place to take your coffee, your loved one and/or your pet and simply sit and listen to the island breezes. And it's in the middle of the city!

Our hotel was next to Fort DeRussy. It is a heavily shaded park and sits right next to Wakiki Beach. It is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. IT is very peacful and you often see people doing Tia Chi.

We thoroughly enjoyed an opportunity to visit the history in Hawaii and General Eric Shinseki. Open to the public in the beautiful Fort DeRussy at Waikiki. Cool on a hot day!

Lovely park at the beach enjoyed watching volley ball competitions. They have some strange looking trees! Don't feed the birds. If you don't want sand everywhere this is the place to sunbathe

This beautiful park was immediatly behind our hotel ... we walked through this park to access the beach every day. Great place, pretty clean and friendly, well appreciated by many.

The Fort DeRussy Beach is a great place to spend a day. It's quieter than Waikiki Beach, and the park area is a great place to spend the day. The park has plenty of trees, so we were able to find shade (for me) and sun (for my wife)! Washrooms are not too far away, as well as a snack...
