July 9th, i took my daughter (Allya,10 yrs old) to fish with the Kona-visiting Maggie Joe, with Capt Mike, deckhands Ty and Mikey, visiting vip Steve Coggins, and retired deck hand, Bishop. Right from the get go, my daughter felt very welcome. They "custom made" her fighting chair, via a pillow. And then we fished. For 9 hours, no strikes.... More

Did a half days fishing with 5 others. Trolled around with not a strike for hours, then the skipper tried to catch live bait, but could only manage to catch 1 and it took nearly an hour. The skipper put the live bait over and it was taken immediately but no hook up. Not one of the passengers even got... More

Staff were really friendly and worked relentlessly to get you to the best spots. We hired out the Maggie Joe 53' boat which was in tidy condition. We were allowed to bring on board our own food and drink, which made for an enjoyable trip. Boat also had a couple beds for those wanting to wade out the sea sickness.... More

Had a really great time on the Seahawk. Darryl and Mike were a fun crew to be with. When one of the passengers got sick (pregnant lady), we took her back to keep her safe. And I think we stayed out a bit longer to compensate for her drop off. We had a great time, catching a lot of Mahi... More

We went for a day charter and it has always been my dream to catch a 'big one'. Well for me that was a Mahi Mahi over 22 lbs along with 2 yellow fin tuna. Everyone on the boat caught the same! It was an incredible day and beyond my hopes! The Captain and Mate were so helpful and friendly...and... More

My buddy and I went out for the for my 50th birthday. Had a great time and we were well taken care of by the crew of the Seahawk, Darryl & Mike. Caught some Mahi, Tuna and a Spearfish. Great way to spend the day.

Took the half day trip. No fish. Nothing is guaranteed that's why it's called fishing. Half day trip is not enough time to check out more water. Captain hardly talked to people so that's not going to get any votes from me. First mate was more personable. I know lots of people come through each day and it gets old,... More

Full day at sea and all we caught was a 510lb Blue Marlin! These guys were great, crew really hustled all day long and we were just coming up with nothing, that's why it's not called catching. Our time finally came when we were out around Maile (far on the West Side) Biggest fish I have ever seen in my... More

My husband and I love to go fishing at home in Ontario, so we had to check out the fishing in Hawaii. It was the highlight of our trip. We had a chance to see humpback whales, and caught a bunch of yellow fin, and big eye tuna. They put up a huge fight, which made it really fun. The... More

I must admit, my daughter and I were not looking forward to a day out to sea. My husband thought it would be great if he chartered the boat for the whole day for our family of four. Our Son is stationed on Oahu, which is why we came out. The crew, Tony and James, made us feel right at... More
