I've enjoyed their special guest concerts, like Burt Bacharach and Marvin Hamlisch. Their new name is the Hawaii Philharmonic, I believe. The old company had too many financial burdens.

We thoroughly enjoyed a concert. Note there are no places within walking distance to have a drink before the concert and the prices and plastic glasses at the theatre don't do it for me. The quality of the orchestra is exceptional. Sound in the hall is also excellent. I am so happy we got tickets. It was a special night...
