We flew from Maui to go see Puccini's Opera. It was fantastic. Really worth the trip. The production was definitely at the levels of international Opera. But the most incredible were the singers and the Orchestra. There was no microphone in the stage, and those singers were able to fill the room with their powerful voice. I was very impressed... My husband and I enjoyed Tosca this past April. Hawaii Opera Theatre presents three operas each year; and, we usually see one. Initially, my husband wasn't interested; but, I persuaded him to go.
