We had a fantastic time on this sunset cruise. For $40 each, we had a 1 1/2 hour sail around the bay with plenty of opportunity for pictures and socializing, and all drinks were included. My husband enjoyed a local microbrew, and I had their signature mixed drink. As someone also mentioned, when you finish your drink, you just wave... More

What can I say about this sunset cocktail cruise? Something you must do in your life. My boyfriend and I booked this spontaneously one morning during our vacation in Waikiki, because the weather forecast for the day looked great so we knew there would be a nice sunset. I'm so glad we were able to do a last-minute booking, but... More

My fiance and I decided to take this sail for an easy way to get on the water and see a beautiful Hawaiin sunset. The sail was a good amount of time and got us different views of Waikiki and diamond head. The water and sunset made it romantic, although the atmosphere was definitely more focused on fun with unlimited... More

My husband and I are sailors so while on our recent trip to Hawaii we took a sunset sail with the Waikiki Rigger and had a great time. They made sure everyone was safe and had a good time, and there were smiles all around on our sail. The crew was fun, and he managed to make sure everyone had... More

As with another review below, we booked this trip after being told there was space available, only to be turned away at the boat. A confirmation email was received, however when we arrived, we were not on the guest list- so no cruise for us. It was our last day, so no chance to rebook. I would be very careful... More

We booked on the beach for the Waikiki Rigger but were put on another boat on the day which was not as good but did the job. We had arranged to go on the snorkel tour and were told to bring nothing but a towel and camera. Perhaps it would have been a good idea to tell us that they... More

Aloha, Mele Kalikimaka, Hau'oli Makahiki Hou to Everyone. Sorry for the late review (June 2013). I normally sail with the Maita'i Catamaran on my visits to the Waikiki area, however, they were booked solid on the morning we wished to sail. They sent us to the Waikiki Rigger which had room and took us at the last possible moment. This... More

Rigger Sunset Cruise Nothing says Paradise like being out on the ocean watching the sunset with your skin being kissed by the tropical breeze. The Rigger Sunset Cruise (affectionately called “the booze cruise”) sails right off of Waikiki Beach near the Shorebird Restaurant. I decided to go on this cruise to learn if it was appropriate for guests of all... More

We have gone out on the Waikiki Rigger each time we've visited Waikiki and this time they told us (after we paid) that we would be going out on the Na Hoku down the beach. It was awful! Watered down drinks, a crummy catamaran, slow trip and a big disappointment. I would never go out on this catamaran, again.

Ok, I will call this what it is.....a booze cruise. Having said that, it was a blast. I made reservations about one month before our trip but I could have signed up at the beach as there were still a few seats left. You board right from the beach and in fact you have to walk through a couple feet... More
