This is expensive $330 for my family of 3 with premier seating. It's situated on the top of the convention center and starts at 5:15 while the hot sun is beating down on you. The hula lesson that they advertise is a joke as they ask all the guests to stand a minute and move two steps to the left... More

It was okay, the dancing was good and it was fairly entertaining, but I think there are more authentic experiences, and better bang for your buck at the Polynesian Centre

Trying to find the best experience of the many alternatives was difficult, so going to the Luau Starlight of the Hilton Wakiki was a our choice. The night was good as we sat at the table and mingle with other guests. The food was very good and plenty, the show was excellent. The costumes and dances were fantastic! The young... More

I don't know what everybody else is paying, must be crazy, but as for the Make-A-Wish families we were covered. This Luau must have Make-A-Wish families often. Thank you to whoever covered that bill! We were treated like royals! The kids even danced with the luau dancers! The buffet was excellent! Authentic Hawaiin foods and some American favorites. The kids... More

I was shocked at the entry to the place. Waiting in a massive line with souvenier stands which one had to contend with keeping little ones from grabbing. Then when you finally get to the photo area, to try to take a photo and have one of their staff physically block the lens of a camera because they are reportedly... More

We stayed at Hilton Hawaiian village, which was a great experience, and the Luau was fun. Nice romantic dinner with an awesome show. Though this was the only Luau that we did so have no comparison for any other place.

Firstly, calling this a starlight Luau is a little odd, since it all ends by 8pm, barely after sunset. Having looked at the other reviews, I'll say that we found the food quite good. It's buffet food, but nicely presented, flavourful and a good range - it also stays topped up for the whole night so you can go back... More

Like many reviews stated, food was horrid; rooftop venue meant that you are surrounded by hotels - not the beach; entertainment OK - only fire dancers were super; long lines to enter and to get food; list could go on. My husband and I received 2 free tickets for our time share presentation and we paid $311. for 2 more... More

If you don't want to get on a bus for a three hour round trip, I would definitely recommend this luau at the top of the Hilton Village. The food is quite good (I've been to several luaus) compared to other luaus and the performance is excellent. The small venue gives you a great view of the stage compared to... More
