Walked to the aquarium from our hotel. Small enough that it didn't take all day to go through. Loved the jelly fish and octopus. The sea horses were a favourite. Used the hand held audio systems that were included in admission. Good size aquarium for young children and adults as well. We had a great time. Would definitely recommend it.

Being in Waikiki I expected that the Aquarium would be be bigger and better than it is but we did enjoy our visit. The squids and octopus are a main attraction. The kids enjoyed holding the hermit crabs and watching them feed the seals. Other than that, it was fairly uneventful.

Beautiful fish of all types & endangered Hawaiian Monk Seals await you at this lovely aquarium. It is on the small side but every exhibit is interesting, especially if you use the hand held audio information guide which is free. Maka onaona and Hō‘ailona, the two beautiful Hawaiian Monk Seals though are the star of the aquarium. We were there... More

Visited on our day of departure to fill in some time.Aquarium rather small but was crowded with visitors and school parties. Being partially deaf, we did not take the opportunity for the audio tour - plenty of signage showing the exhibits. Highlight for me was the monk seal posing for the cameras. Small but crowded gift shop.

High quality exhibits, in the shade & air conditioned - perfect diversion if you need a break from the sun. It's a small aquarium but not expensive and worth the visit.

The aforementioned are, in my opinion, the stars of the Aquarium... they are Hawaiian Monk Seals which are an endangered species... less than 1,100 left on EARTH. I came specifically to see them after having met a wild relative named Benny back in Dec at White Plains beach... he I could not get too close to but here I could... More

I know that when you go to Waikiki you don't immediately think Aquarium, but on this trip we did and are so very glad we did so. It is not only for kids, but they have a great there also. Very informative and just a great place to see all the sea life so close you feel you could touch... More

My husband and I went to both the aquarium and the zoo- and we enjoyed the aquarium much more by far. It's a little spendy, and of course they'll try to get you to buy your pictures and souvenirs- but it was still a lot of fun. We opted for the audio tour and learned a lot (we are from... More

The grounds aren't huge but it's very informative and you get to see a variety of things. We probably stayed an hour and we saw everything. Quite interactive and a great place for children, you get the option of a free headset to use which gives you information on all the fish etc. Our favourite part was the jellyfish. The... More

We were simply walking along the beach when we came across the aquarium and went inside. While not huge, there are several large salt water tanks with a hypnotizing variety of fish. Two monk seals outside and there you have it. I am 62 and I enjoyed it. If you have kids, this is a perfect way to entertain them... More
