This is a great aquarium! Definitely worth it to see a lot of native fish. The monk seals are adorable! It didn't take long to go through, but it was really worth it. It's within walking distance of the hotels in Waikiki Beach and when you're done you should walk down to the Barefoot Cafe for lunch!

The aquarium is located just ten minutes from Waikiki beach along a safe and wide pathway. We found the aquarium to be very clean and fresh with relevant displays. We both hired the little self guided tour handsets which gave information about the exhibits. If we hadn't hired these we probably would have been through the entire aquarium in thirty... More

While it does not have the whales and dolphins of the San Diego Seaworld, this relatively compact facility gives an excellent overview of the sea life around the Hawaiian islands. The audio tour provides excellent explanations (but it helps if you bring a pair of headphones, so you don't have to hold the device up to your ear all the... More

The aquarium was quite small and took no time at all to get around so I was glad that it was reasonably priced. I was absolutely mesmerised buy the jellyfish and I stood there watching them for quite a while. The sea lion was also beautiful. There was a lady letting people hold the Hermit (?) crabs as well which... More

Very small but well done. Some beautiful species. I prefer the less is more approach to exhibits so I recommend this aquarium. Great place to get away from the crowds for a bit.

So happy we spent a couple hours of our morning here. Great, clean, educational exhibits but best of all... The Monk Seals! We got there at about 10:30 on a Sunday and were right on time for a training demonstration/presentation from their trainer. Seriously cool! That was my favorite part, but the other exhibits are equally neat and the inside... More

Lovely little aquarium filled with tropical fish, just gorgeous, great gift shop also, the only thing missing is somewhere to eat and have a drink, but otherwise lovely!

I took the kids to this aquarium and we had a good time. The aquarium is modest in size but it had quality exhibits and specimens. It only took only about an hour to enjoy the aquarium so the aquarium and zoo are both doable in a morning or afternoon.

They do a great job of keeping the place clean and the exhibits well-maintained. Not the biggest aquarium but it will keep you busy for at least 1-2 hours. Neatest tanks were of course the huge "shark" tank that mesmerizes you as the huge creatures glide through the water. The jellyfish, eels, baby sea turtle, and seahorse/sea dragon tanks are... More

I figured an aquarium in Waikiki would rival those of New Orleans and Dallas but this one is much, much smaller. However, what they do have is done well but I'm not sure I can justify the $12.00 admission for anyone older than 13. There simply isn't too much to see. Nevertheless, my family and i did enjoy our visit... More
