The aquarium is a nice place to go, especially if you have children. It's not as large as mystic aquarium but it's decent enough, has plenty of fish and you'll spend about 2 hours going through it leisurely. Worth the $9. On the smaller side of an aquarium, but it was the right size for my 5 year old. They have a touch pool outside. Pictures available and gift shop. Parking is horrible, so get there early. Right in Waikiki, can go eat or hit the beach in the same day. More

Get on a local bus for $2.50 return. Excellent for children. Giant clams, gropers, sharks. Two cute seals. Lots of tropical fish with helpful volunteers explaining everything. More
