We visited the Waikiki aquarium on a recent trip to Hawaii. It is a relatively small aquarium (great for us because we had our two young children with us) which meant we could see everything we could see in just over an hour. The highlight for me was the cute little Peppermint Angelfish. The aquarium is nice and close to... More

This place should be renamed to the fish pond. It was a big view of fishes with educational voice overs. There was no exciting fish or other sea creatures. It was a waste of $12 and my time

We spent about 2 hours at the Waikiki Aquarium and were able to see everything in it, including the seal-feeding show. The Aquarium is very small as others have noted, it's probably about 1/8 the size of the New England Aquarium here in Boston. But it's very well-kept and they have some interesting exhibits. The guy in the front told... More

Ok so I honestly truly think this is the most over-priced aquarium in the United States. It's hardly worth the money to go in. I wish the authorities would take a little more time and make a little more effort. The best feature are the sea-horses and the gentleman who explains it is such a sweetheart. He showed us how... One night we went and they were having a party for everyone to enjoy! They had games and food it was really fun! The aquarium is small but if you take your time and really look at all the animals you really will enjoy it. They have an excellent shark tank!

This small aquarium was really great to spend an hour or so in. The displays were really colorful with lots of species of fish, sea horses, clams and coral. They actually grow their own coral and have a clam nursery. Fantastic for kids too.

What a surprise this was. After multiple trips to Hawaii we finally went to the Aquarium and what a surprise packet. Although small, it's only $12 a visit, and the range of tropical fish and coral were amazing. Truly breathtaking. They do have a few seals which come out for a bit of a visit and you can interact with... More

The aquarium is very very small compared to the Vancouver Aquarium however it was enough to keep my 4 year old entertained. He loved it so much that he had to go back twice. The entrance fee is relatively inexpensive compared to back home. It's something to keep the kiddies busy when you want a break from the beach.

A small aquarium but with the most beautiful coloured fish & coral. Very clean. Would recommend others to visit here. We loved it.
