We went to Waikiki aquarium for a luau. Included in the luau price was free entrance to the aquarium itself. It is a beautiful place, well worth a visit when in Honolulu.

I'm 20 and studying biology and marine science, so I had a great time here looking at all the fish and reading all the information, it was very interesting! Not bad for a small aquarium, and an easy way to kill an hour or two :)

This aquarium is a short walk along the beachfront towards Diamond Head. make Sure your headphone works ( this aspect could be managed better ) before you start then enjoy! The coral and reef fish displays are fantastic. They have a magnificent giant clam...everyone including myself was amazed by this clam. You Will see Live nautilus and other exhibits not... More

Very educational and a beautiful aquarium displaying sea life from the area. Many do's and don'ts are explained throughout the building. No time limit.

The aquarium is located right by the beach, an easy walk from Waikiki. It is on the small side as far modern aquaria go, and limited space (and probably funds) suggest it is not about to expand. Despite its modesty, it manages to squeeze a lot into a confined area and there is quite a bit to see - taking... More

The Waikiki Aquarium is very small which might be surprising to visitors who think that Honolulu, with all its visitors and being right by the sea, should have a gigantic world class aquarium. This wouldn't be it though. Fish are generally poorly identified or mislabeled as we couldn't tell often what fish was what or were sure that they had... More

Very educational. Well worth it. Beautiful exhibits. Interactive as well. Reasonably priced. Fun for the whole family. Next to a beach park as well if you want to take a stroll after.

Have kids fascinated with the ocean and the many things that call the ocean their home? Take them here! Cheap for military and families.

If you have been to Melbourne aquarium then you will be disappointed with this visit. It's very small, not what you would expect with all the marine life in Hawaii.

Enjoyed wandering around inside and looking at the various exhibits until we got outside- there were 2 seals in 2 different exhibits, and I found it really sad! They looked as if they needed a bigger enclosure. They looked bored.
