Small but worth a visit

Good variety of exhibits, colourful range of fish and coral, good interpretative commentary. Lacks the big tanks & fish in many of the big aquariums

Worth a visit if nature is your thing and you like to take your time and listen to the self guide and read about the exhibits. For those who spend seconds looking at something then moving to the next tank then I wouldn't bother as you will be in and out in ten minutes. We loved it even though there... More

I've been to Mystic Aquarium in CT and I used to go to the Coney Island Aquarium in NYC often. Maybe I'm biased because I've been to huge, large-scale aquariums with large exhibits and amazing sea life. But the Waikiki Aquarium was very lackluster for an island that boosts so much colorful sea life. Their main attraction is their monk... More

The aquarium was very small but had beautiful fish and even glow in the dark jellyfish! My favorite part was seeing the Monk Seals up close because they were very cute!

we decided to spend the $12 each adult and spent a few hours at the Aquarium. This is well worth it, free audio on entry and some of the best exhibits that we have every seen spend the time and enjoy the airconditioned comfort of a lovely low key experience.

Lots of displays to see and read about. Great way to spend an hour or so out of the sun. TTake the listening device to hear about the displays

This is an aquarium that is small, but still shows a lot of the sea life and has plenty of life to show you! They also give you a radio looking item that tells you about the sea life they are showing! Very educational!

Pretty, able to self-guide, great pictures, not TOO expensive. I liked being around the nature things. Got to see seahorses, jellyfish, neat tropical fish that I knew were swimming in the area. I think I saw turtles and sharks. It was a really cool experience. It costs less than $15 really.

This is a nice little aquarium located on Queen's surf beach, they have plenty of animals as well as marine wildlife, just in case you are unable to snorke, as if you find the right places on Oahu beaches, you can see all this in the ocean, yet great displays as well as a self guided tour. It is worth... More

Compared to the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, CA, the Waikiki Aquarium is small! However despite it size, it provides yet another unique look into the underwater world. And has a great many species of sea life available to enjoy watching!
