I must say this ended up being the best attraction experience for the whole trip. To begin with the location was very convenient to Waikiki area, so we had time to go to the beach on that day as well. The aquarium is very well organized and has both interior and exterior exhibits. The admission includes audio guide that is... More

I love aquariums, but the Waikiki Aquarium was another disappointment to add to my list. The price was reasonable, especially as I got a discount from my hotel, and I hasten to add that if you were on a family vacation with kids, I'm sure this is a great spot. As a female solo traveller, however, I found there wasn't... More

very nearby Waikiki Beach. in a lovely park setting. focused on western pacific coral islands. corals are spectacular and pristine. a huge variety of fish including some very rare ones. the effort in creating and preserving the exhibits is obvioius. audio guide is very helpful, and it comes in two varieties, adults and kids versions. try both to get a... visited and had a total blast here. Its cheap to get in and they have lots to see. The jellyfish exhibit was my favorite but they have something for everyone. Don't forget to stop by and see the seal tank. They are simply awesome!! Takes a good 2 hours to get through but take your time and just take it... More

Took the grandkids to the aquarium. The price is right for what you see. Not a whole lot of exhibits, but the grandkids enjoyed it.

This is a great stop at the end of Waikiki beach. The exhibits are well-labelled and set out in a logical and spacious order. The highlights were the seals - who continued performing tricks after the show was over. We chose this over Sea Life thanks to other TA reviewers.

We took the trolley around Waikiki and decided to get off and tour the Aquarium. It is small but very nice. Beautiful fish and some scary ones too. A nice display of jelly fish was really interesting. Most of the fish are indoors but there are a few outside.

I like the aquarium even though it is smaller than many. It's a nice introduction to the sea life of Hawaii. The entrance fee is 12 for adults, kids under 3 are free and seniors and kids 4-12 are $5. They do have some reciprocal agreements with places like zoos in other states that you can check on their website-it... More

We went to the Waikiki Aquarium in February 2013. This is not the largest or fanciest aquarium we have been too, nor does it have the highest tech. However, its collection of fishes is second to none. They have a lot of rare reef fishes as well as large healthy reef tank systems on display. Fishes include the Peppermint Angelfish,... More

the waikiki aquarium may be relatively smaller than all the other aquariums i've seen but it houses quite a rich variety of fishes. it is also home to two beautiful hawaiian monk seals, an endangered species of earless seal endemic to the hawaiian islands. these seals are quite entertaining! it's like they know you're taking photos and videos as they...
