Lovely little aquarium filled with tropical fish, just gorgeous, great gift shop also, the only thing missing is somewhere to eat and have a drink, but otherwise lovely!

I took the kids to this aquarium and we had a good time. The aquarium is modest in size but it had quality exhibits and specimens. It only took only about an hour to enjoy the aquarium so the aquarium and zoo are both doable in a morning or afternoon.

They do a great job of keeping the place clean and the exhibits well-maintained. Not the biggest aquarium but it will keep you busy for at least 1-2 hours. Neatest tanks were of course the huge "shark" tank that mesmerizes you as the huge creatures glide through the water. The jellyfish, eels, baby sea turtle, and seahorse/sea dragon tanks are... More

I figured an aquarium in Waikiki would rival those of New Orleans and Dallas but this one is much, much smaller. However, what they do have is done well but I'm not sure I can justify the $12.00 admission for anyone older than 13. There simply isn't too much to see. Nevertheless, my family and i did enjoy our visit... More

This is an awesome little aquarium! First they do a group photo, against a green screen, but what they do with the photos is really a lot of fun! Admission includes an audio tour. You key in the number next to each exhibit, so you only listen to the narrative of the things you want. One particularly impressive thing is... More

The aquarium is about a 20 minute walk from central Waikiki toward diamond head. It has a touch pond for kids and a lot of school groups have field trips. It has exhibits of local marine life. It takes no more than an hour to visit and see the exhibits. If you still have energy it is a ten minute... More

Don't expect a large scale aquarium with shark tanks and walk through tunnels etc. The Waikiki Aquarium is fairly small and concentrates on the marine life around Hawaii but there's still plenty to see. They have displays of the reef systems with lots of information, plus giant clams and a huge monk seal. Well worth a visit.

We had a couple of hours to kill so we walked to the aquarium. It is a small place but very clean and well kept. The beautiful fish and the coral tanks were very well maintained. There were a couple of day camps there on a field trip and it was fun to see the kids react to the tanks.
