While in Honolulu, we visited Hilo Hattie's. I had visited Hilo Hattie's on Maui some years ago, and found it and enchanting. However, this time I purchased a block of quilting squares which was supposed to be 88 squares. On arrival home, I found the pack was short 12 squares. I emailed hilo Hattie's, and their response, even though it... More

I took the free van (tip expected) to the original Hilo Hattie's. They have lots of Hawaiian souvenirs. The van driver said 80% are made in Hawaii. They have a large assortment of items but they are a bit pricey.

We also had free Dole whips once we got there. It's a good place to get gifts to bring back to the mainland. It's also neat to see the cultural programs they put on. Definitely worth the trip with a family.

I'm not sure about the reviews that talked about going to the factory, but I've been in the retail stores in Honolulu and Maui. It's touristy, but hey, if I go to Hawaii im a tourist. The thing I like best is that they have clothing in all price ranges depending on your budget. 20 to 30 dollars will buy... More

This is connected with Roberts Tours, but not even sure how! You can get the free Trolley (a bus that looks like a Tram for us Aussies) or a white shuttle bus that has 'free shuttle' on the side which may or may not have the word 'free' covered in white tape - not sure what that is about! With... More

I had previously visited Waikiki twice before and used the 'Free' shuttle with my family to visit the store on several occasions. I noticed this time that there were a number of your vehicles had the 'Free' covered over. I did visit the store on a trams and I was glad to see that for the most part it was... More

If you have been to a Hilo Hattie's you most likely want to skip, although this is the largest and has extra items provided by vendors, such as soaps and facial products. I find that Hattie's is overpriced though. I do find that if you do want to see the store that their transportation from cruise ships and many hotels... More

This was hubby's first visit to Hilo Hattie's but I had been there before and was very disappointed this time. The factory tour is no longer available and that was a big part of going to Hilo Hattie's. We found the merchandise to be very expensive and there was a limited amount of "matching" men/women outfits. We wouldn't go back.

The free trolley ride with running commentary from the driver is the beginning of a fun shopping experience. Once at the store, you'll find small vendors with varying Hawaiian crafts then the HUGE selection of women's, men's and children's clothing in beautiful selections of fabrics...many available in matching family items (shirts for boys & men...dresses and blouses for women &... This was a must thanks to reviews we had read here. We weren't disappointed our driver on the shuttle was so much fun and helpful with information for finding our way to different stores and restaurants, then to receive our free lei started the shopping juices flowing. The shop is amazing so well set up and we were on the... More
