Not that great place to go. I would have been satisfied if I hadn't gone there. It was not that crowded but the ABC stores were better.

Lots of variety of items for souvenirs: jewelry, clothing and home decor with reasonable prices on most of the items. A few were a little pricey.

Definite must see when you are in Honolulu. When you walk in int the door you are given a shell lei and offered juice. Tons of Hawaiian wear, souvenirs, Hawaiian treats and snacks. I was able to find tshirts for all my grand kids on the 6 shirts for $20 rack.

First trip to Hilo Hattie's was in 2002, remembered the store as being fun and full of great Hawaiian items and souvenirs. Recently went back with our two daughters and was so disappointed. We were the only ones in the store which should have been our first clue. I was so surprised at the difference in the store that I... More

We received a coupon with our packet when we came to Honolulu so we thought we'd stop in. Caught the free shuttle out to Hilo Hatties and we were the only ones on it which made me suspicious. Once we got there most of the items in the store was clothing which we did not want or have room for... More

Years ago HH had a big bus that people would cram onto just to get to/from the shop. This time we got into a little van and were the only 2 people taken to the shop (and as our lovely driver told us, his first customers of the day!). We were given a shell lei on arrival, which serves as... More

Before we left Honolulu we went shopping for souvenirs at Hilo Hattie's and found everything on our list and then some! This landmark store had so many items reflecting the Hawaiian cultures and the prices were very reasonable. They have clothing, jewelry, Kona coffee... you name it! After having bought more items than I planned, I was pleased to find... More

Great place to pick up some souvenirs before leaving the island! We got a free shell necklace for walking through the door. they had little craft centers set up throughout the store. Not sure if that's the norm all the time or if this was a special occasion.

We had heard from several guides that this was the place to stop for local souvenirs, so we took the free bus for a visit, but hated it and didn't buy a single thing as it was all way over priced and didn't even seem to be as good as the souvenirs at the ABC stores on every corner. The... More

This is one of those places that the tours drop you at and they give you a lift back or drop you at the beach, the only problem is there are always more people at the bus stop than will fit on the mini bus and they only go to the beach when they feel like it.
