We hiked diamond head and lived to tell the tale. The summit offers spectacular views. Well worth the time. I recommend doing the hike early in the morning before it gets too hot.

Our group was aged from 53 to 65 and we all made it in the rain. It is a daunting walk but if you take your time it becomes easier. The view from the top is fabulous. Take camera and binocculars.

Not too hard of a hike to the top. The view was amazing and the shaved ice afterwards was a nice treat!

We took a bus from downtown Honolulu and the park entrance was only $1. There are still bunkers on top of Diamond Head that... More

We walked to the top of Diamond Head and it was really worth it. The views are so great from the top. We stopped along the way for pictures and took our time on the steps but was well worth the effort.

awesome view of Honolulu. fun hike up hills & stairs- can be a nice daily workout challenge. super crowded mid-day so I might advise a time early morning to avoid some of the crowds. you can walk in for $1, parking is $5.
