My wife and I purchased the three hour snorkel and sail package in June of 2015. This package included Lunch (sandwich, fruit and chips) and two free drink coupons per person. The crew was amazing and since my wife is not a strong swimmer I felt comfortable that they had two certified lifeguards on board that also enter the water... More

We took the Sunset Dinner Cruise with Makani which lasted about 2 hours. Dinner consisted of a Hawaiian style buffet of hot and cold dishes which were actually pretty good. You get tickets for 2 complimentary drinks (alcohol or non-alcohol) per person and then drinks are available for purchase at the bar on the boat. The catamaran offered a smooth... More

I was very excited about the sail. I bought Groupons for his and was excited about taking my sons on this dinner cruise. In all honesty the cruise was ok. Nothing too fabulous, the food was good. The crew are funny and inter-acted with the people. I agree with the other reviewers about food. It's standard fare but a little... More

Just a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours in the afternoon sailing Waikiki down to Diamond Head with a drink in hand and breeze in your hair. The crew were great, knowledgeable , pity we didnt land that big fish (tackle broke) but what a blast.

This a short but very nice sailing out into the ocean and back . You get a great view of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach. Some boats see turtles and dolphins but we did not. The boat is clean, safe and a lot of fun. Some of the bluest water u have ever seen! We were using the Go Oahu... More

This is definitely something that I want to do every time we come back to Hawaii. I can skip the luau and just do this. Food was great and the sunset sail made it even better. Great crew as well. But loved the catamaran versus being inside on a huge boat. Was romantic - even though our 8 year old... More

I was picked up 50 minutes late. the sail boat was too crowded and people had to stand to eat. They did a large spiel on things to purchase. Food was fair. If theirs a next time I will research other companies.

visiting with my sisters. Wonderful crew, nice dinner, clean boat. Highly recommend! A bigger boat but plenty of room to get up and enjoy different views.

The Makani Catamaran is a worthwhile short cruise. The entire staff was fun, engaging, talkative, etc. we really enjoyed the company of the bartender Brewsky, such an awesome guy, the kind you could see yourself hanging out with on many booze cruises. Or maybe I just imagine myself on many booze cruises. :) definitely worth the price. We too the... More
