We had a fabulous time at the Hale Koa luau - we are not military but were able to buy tickets at reception - but a warning don't stop off to buy cold drinks at the hotel store after you have purchased your tickets - I reached the checkout of the store with my children only to be told I... More

Had a fun time. The food was great (unless you're a vegetarian) and the kids attending really enjoyed the activities. We sat at table 28, so had an ok view. The do let you take pictures, so remember to bring your camera!

We opted for this luau as it was significantly less expensive than other luaus and it was within walking distance from our hotel. Booked tickets online the day before. The pre-luau activities were fun. Dinner was fine and the show fun. This is a great luau option for families with children and a nice way to spend the evening.

we were a little wary at the price and almost didn't attend the Hale Koa Luau, but I am so glad we did! The demonstrations were amazing - how to split a coconut, how to climb the coconut tree, how to wrap a sarong, traditional dances from the Polynesian Islands, I even got chosen to go on stage to learn... We had the best time here, in fact this was one of the best days in Honolulu, the food was superb and the show was terrific and the Mai Tai's were awesome, all 14 of them!

Being frequent Hawaii visitors we have attended lots of Luaus. This first time at Hale Koa Luau has us recommending to our friends. Not a big drunken party like Germaines, this place is clean, classy, entertaining. Host and dancers all top notch. Loved the free pre luau activities!! Price great as they give hugely discounted rates for children 17 and... More

WOW, this show was exceptional! We loved it. We had a front row table on the second tier and it was wonderful. My husband and I and our granddaughter went to it. They served a buffet dinner which was fantastic, and our granddaughter, who is a very picky eater, went back for seconds. It is a family of magicians, the... More

We sat at Table 58. It was central but too far back. The rep said that Tables 38 and 48 were blocked by pillars so this was our best choice of what was left for 3 guests. She said the seating was terraced but there was 3 rows of (10-12 people at a table?) and that everyone could see the... More

First of all, we bought our tickets for the Magic in Paradise about a little over a month in advance. My sister was very excited to go to the show because she saw Mark Allen Mauricio perform at a party and she thought we all would like it. We were celebrating my dad's 73rd bday and her daugther's 4th bday.... More

The Hale Koa luau was great. I enjoyed making leis, the palm tree climb, the jokes, the dances, costumes, military tribute, food, and the host Glenn. He was awesome!!
