It can obviously get pretty busy here so arrive early. There are plenty of stores for gifts etc and there are a couple of museums (for want of a better word) that give you the insight into how the war in the pacific started. You get given a time and ticket for your film presentation that you watch before you... More

This is an emotional journey, it really brings home the impact and how many lost their lives. There are many different attractions to visit: the Mighty Mo, the Arizona, a flight museum, etc... Women need to be aware this is still a military location and purses are not allowed on premises. You must put your purse or bags in a... More

A very good way to Honor the service men and women who lost lives and family during this time. There is alot of history and a great little introduction movie that shows how it all came about.

This was very well done and so worth a visit. My teenagers enjoyed it as well. The museum and the history of the Arizona is very powerful. We all really enjoyed exploring the Bowfin submarine. The audio commentary was great! Reserving the tickets online is the way to go. However, I do NOT recommend taking the bus. Although it is... More

The visit to the USS Arizona, the highlight of this place was very emotional. The exhibits and movies told the history of Pearl Harbor and of the Japanese bombing that brought the United States into WWII. And seeing the Arizona and the Missouri bow to bow - the beginning and the end - was powerful.

If you visit Hawaii this is a must see! A fitting tribute to all of the servicemen and women that died all those years ago.

IMHO, it is a shame that a huge historical place, has become not a tourist attraction. I expected more respect for people killed during the attack on Dec. 7, 1941.

I found coming here very humbling and made me think about about how many people were affected and still are to this day by the events that happened. I hated seeing so many people taking selfies and laughing , or n the case that upset me the most a man falling asleep during the movie. Overall it was a great... More

The current Memorial/Monument offers visitors choices to see the USS Arizona with mimimal or no-cost and the USS Missouri and Bowfin with additional admission cost. Each is amazing and creates an emotional and educational 'once-in-a-lifetime' experience.
