We did the Pearl Harbor, USS Arizone Memorial and Punchbowl tour in the one day. We took the "lighter" tour that went for 5 hours. The bus tour starts and drops us off at the Ilikai Hotel - right next door from the Modern Hotel. Unfortunately we felt a little rushed through the tour but we plan to return back... More

You'd be remiss to visit Oahu and not visit Pearl Harbor! My husband and I took our daughters, ages 14 and 11 and we were ALL deeply moved by the history. Definitely begin your tour with the movie. Get the tickets for the upon arrival to reduce your wait time.. If memory serves me correctly, all of this was free... More

Pearl Harbor itself doesn't need any further recommendation. It's a solemn place with plenty of history. If you're wondering if you should pay the outrageous cost of a tour or do it on your own... YOU CAN DO IT ON YOUR OWN! Rent a car for one day. Go to the Pearl Harbour National park site and book your ticket... More

This was very interesting and quite moving. A must do when visiting Oahu. We did it as a bus tour and found it was a heat way to experience it.

Better experience this time as the other visitors were more respectful. Helps us appreciate the sacrifices of those who serve.

very well done, informative. Learned more about the war in the Pacific and Adm. Nimitz than could recall.

Go on your own though ~ don't sign up through some "company" that will put a time constraint on you. * Some parts there is a fee while other parts there's no fee.

While its long in duration, its a great way to spend the day. Tour guides are very knowledgable and friendly. Facility is very clean and exhbiits are well done. Especially enjoyed the hand edited draft of Roosevelt's speech

It was a very touching and educational tour. As we stood on deck at the memorial and looked down at the USS Arizona, we were reminded of the history and sacrifice that had occurred on that spot.

Surprisingly, it was a good trip. It is a well balanced education experience about WWII. We enjoyed very much. I do recommend to get a tour to go there. You may not get a ticket if you get there late by yourself. Beware: No bags allowed unless you want to pay to store your bags in a locker there.
