Get there early, especially if you plan to just visit one day. Get your ferry pass out to the Memorial first. They plan for ferries out to the Memorial for most of the day but if the waters get rough (and they tend to do so in the afternnon around 1 or 2 pm), the ferries trips may be cancelled.... More

This is a solemn must see when visiting Hawaii. Mornings are especially good to capture the feel for the Japanese attack of Pearl Harbor and to reflect upon the 2403 that lost their lives that day, nearly half on the USS Arizona. Watch and wait for the drops of oil that still drift to the surface from the submerged remains... More

This is a very special place to visit. The USS Arizona memorial is very good. The tickets to the memorial are free but you must line up very early as they go very quickly. One option is to reserve your tickets the day before, there are some released from 7 am on the memorial web site. The rest of the... More

We took the taxi from Waikiki - nearly $70USD after tips so catch a bus if possible. Matter of fact we able to grab a private people mover who pulled up at the bus stop on the main - cost $5 each so a real bargain. Over all the exhibits are very impressive. We didn't do the Missouri or Arizona... More

My wife and I went on bus tour to Pearl Harbour. It was a memorable day.If we were to visit again would do by ourselves as we were limited to what we could see in the time frame allowed. We went to the memorial which was very sombre seeing the wreck and all the names of the deceased. The Missouri... More

How to describe a place like this? From the moment Pearl Harbor was attached , life was changed in the world. This Memorial shows a true , illustrated , fascinating and a commotion history . When you are there you feel really evolved with it. The movie and the visiting to the ships and submarines are unforgettable. It was a great... More

I was impressed and deeply shocked at the same time. You could nearly smell the burning warschips, hear the screaming soldiers taken by surprise. Among hundreds of visitors I felt so desolate alone the moment I made pictures of the names who sacreficed live to give freedom and live a second chanche. Staying at Oahu without visiting Pearl Harbour is... More

Such a great place to see. We went to the visitors center and saw and learned so much for free. They have excellent museums, videos, and a gift shop. You can see the USS Arizona Memorial from here as well (It's small but visible). We unfortunately did not get tickets to go to memorial. We will try to do that... More
