A place of education, reverence and reflection. The tour is well organized. They limit numbers to ensure everyone has a good experience. Use facilities before the boat ride to the memorial as there are no facilities until you are back.

We traveled from Waikiki on the #42 bus to Pearl Harbor. While not the fastest way to get there, it was the cheapest. We chose the day we did because it was windy and rainy ... which ended up being not the best choice because the boats were not going out to the Memorial due to the wind! We were... More

My wife and I not only toured the harbor on land, we also spent the extra money and took the island helicopter tour and flew over Pearl Harbor! For us it was a once-in-a-lifetime trip, so we had no choice. Just do it!

This was a must see for my husband, a former marine (and from Arizona!). Completely worth the visit and you should not leave Oahu without seeing this. I will say we were very annoyed by the lack of respect some visitors showed while at the memorial itself - it's a memorial and a grave, wish people would show more consideration.

This is a great place to reflect what must have happened here so long ago. It was very moving. This was definitely a place that I loved visiting while in Honolulu.

So much history here. Much of it sad history, but nonetheless, history that shaped our nation into what we know today. You'd have to try pretty hard not to leave here with a greater appreciation for the sacrifices made. We didn't have tickets for the USS Arizona shuttle and arrived early (around 6:45) and were on the first shuttle out.... More

We were very moved by the visit to Pearl Harbor. I thinkevery person visiting Oahu should visit Pearl harbor to be reminded of the sacrafice somany made during World War II. The tickets to visit the monument get sold out quite early so be sure to call for tickets early. After visiting the monument you can tour various buiildings that... More

I've been to this attractions twice and it has improved so much over the years. Well worth going to if you love learning about history and what happened. Many places to look at around the area and you take a boat out to the Arizona Memorial Place, this is included in your ticket to get in. There is an audioguide... More

We viewed the monument in conjunction with our visit to the USS Arizona. It was a fantastic experience. The museums are very interesting and easy to follow. We did the audio tour, which was totally worth the $7.50/person. Give yourself plenty of time to take everything in, something we didn't realize we didn't do when we booked our shuttle until...
