This was a must see for us especially as this site has a special significance for my family. The tour was fantastic and a visit to these islands must include a visit to this monument.

Very moving but very sterile! Lots of people visiting. We had to wait a bit of time because they were not sure we could take the shuttle boat across to the Arizona memorial because the wind was too strong. But eventually we got to go. The grounds are well kept, staff are efficient and friendly.

Me and my girlfriend visited Hawaii Oahu island in June 2014 the entire island is amazing. But 1 of the attractions and memories that really stands out and will last was Pearl Harbor. You should give yourself at least 5-6 hours to tour the entire site. The stories behind every item you see and steps you take, takes you back... More

The Pearl Harbour Pacific National Monument is not to be missed. It is profound. It is a memorial and a place of respect. Touching to see the drops of oil on the water as the contents of the fuel bays is slowly released over the years. An opportunity to talk to our children and explain to them what their grand-parents... More

This is one place to see- not only that it is free but because you learn so much about WWII. Make sure to bring your children, too. My daughter and her cousin became Junior Rangers here and they learned a lot on the history of Hawaii, the war, etc. Make sure to follow instructions and be polite, quiet and practice... More

Most wouldn't think to visit a memorial while on vacation but this is so much of our history its no to be missed. If you are on Oahu and have the time, don't worry about the lines, use the recreation.gov site to reserve a next day ticket. You select a time and then have to show an hour in advance.... More

What a wonderful memorial. Plan to take your time and really see all that is in the area. I wish we had been able to see more of the museums. This memorial is amazing and truly a must see when you are here. It's so very sobering to know how many of your men are still resting in the sunken... More

We stop in every few trips to Oahu to pay our respects to those remembered here, their sacrifices and accomplishments. Don't miss the outstanding Pacific Submarine Memorial and associated museum along with a tour of the U.S.S. Bowfin. Run on over to the U.S.S. Missouri if you've never been on a battle wagon. A visit to Pearl will recharge your... More

Well worth your time when you come to Oahu. Excellent film which really sets the stage for the short trip out to the Arizona memorial. It was sobering and humbling to stand over the wreckage knowing that 900+ soldiers are entombed below you. Could have done without the rude travelers loudly taking business calls at the memorial. Turn off your... More
