A visit to Oahu is not complete without going to Pearl Harbor. This important site commemorates the bombing of Hawaii by the Japanese in WWII, which led to America's decision to go to war. The sunken Arizona remains submerged beneath the beautiful memorial, and a comprehensive museum, including a video with real footage from the incident, provides all with a... More

Take it all in. Interesting to see there is still oil that bubbles up from under water from the Arizona. I heard the gentleman on duty at the time tell a young boy, "There is still enough oil in the ship to bubble up like it does, for another 100 years." Wow! The thought that there are 1177 bodies still... More

We had 19 People in our group, From 9 Years old to 65 years young. Every one loved the experience. We all had the head sets that told so much about everything, my grandchildren would shush people while they were listening to a very important part of our history. We have seen documentaries in the past, but nothing compares to... More

A great experience for our family, we were able to meet a survior from the Pearl Harbor, he was 95 years old. This really put it in perspective for our family. The video prior to the boat ride was very educational and was presented even our 7 year old was able to watch and understand. Great experience and willl do... More

Traveled to Pearl Harbor to pay respects to a gentleman in the band who perished on December 7th. When not playing, the band supplied ammunition to the guns. The band played together, drilled together, and all died together on that day. It was moving to see him in the video before boarding the launches to go to the memorial. Totally... More

We reserved our Arizona tour in advance. We got to Pearl Harbor an hour and 45 minutes prior to the tour. We had time to see the Bowfin and the Arizona museums beforehand. We were there on a Saturday morning and it was practically empty when we arrived. I expected crowds. There were no lines at all at the ticket... More

We specifically came to Oahu to visit Pearl Harbor. We visited here to gain more information and to see in person the site of the attack and was moved by the presence of the site and the footage of the attack. It was emotional and made you feel proud of the servicemen and all of what they sacrificed for our... More

I am from Hawaii and remember often going on field trips to the Memorial. Of course as an adult it has a totally different meaning and am moved every time I go here. I was fortunate to have taken the "Admiral's Tour" which is really super cool. This is diffently worth going to.
