My boyfriend and I were staying in Honolulu for a few days and knew this would be on our list. Luckily we were still surviving East Coast Time, so when we woke up early on a Saturday morning we decided to head to the memorial. It took us about 25 minutes to get there from our hotel in Honolulu and... More

The last time I went to this monument was 15 years ago. The National Parks Service has added a really nice gateway, easy access to get tickets and more attractions at the site. The whole Pearl Harbor experience is worth going to. The Arizona has free admission but the other attractions have fees. Was great to take my wife who... More

We went to the Arizona Memorial and Battleship Missouri. This was a return trip for me but it had been several years ago. The US Parks department has completed construction and redone the area. They layout is great, and the improved look is fantastic. We were able to meet some of the survivors that were there that day. Sadly, there... More

My wife got to meet and talk with one of the actual survivors from that day, she said it was not only moving but gave her great pleasure to thank him personally for his service and hear is story. This tour is a definite must for all ages. Dont forget too visit... More

It was interesting to get a first hand impression of the attack on Pearl Harbour. Quite a moving experience and puts history into context. A must visit if you are on Oahu!

We went on a day trip to Pearl Harbour. Coach took us on to Ford Island which is subject to High Security. Then went to the Pearl Harbour visitor centre which contains a wide range of exhibits relating to Pearl Harbour and the day of Infamy in December 1941. You can purchase a ticket to visit the Arizona Memorial and... More

A trip to Hawaii isn't complete unless you have gone to Pearl Harbour. You can get there yourself by car or bus but note that the bus is very slow and takes around 1 1/2 hours (although it is only $2.50 each way). You are best to book through a tour company (we used Roberts Hawaii and found them to... More

Only that I had heard about it, I'm so glad I went to see it. Very moving, informative and tranquil. Quite sad but I am proud to say I have visited.
