When you call the week before your trip and find out they are still running trips for the season. And they post on their facebook page that its the last week for tours. And you call to set up the tour only to find out they aren't actually running tour anymore as advertised despite good weather... Lovely.

Thank you for your comment Ashley. The end of October when the colder, unpredictable weather and winds often force cancellations, is a challenging time for us. You were correct in that the week you inquired about was our last official week and we actually did run tours. Unfortunately, only a few trips were able to depart as scheduled. This is... More

We loved boating around Narragansett Bay. There were so many great things to see. The staff was very very friendly and knowledgeable and they served a tasty drink. They also didn't mind answering many questions from my 5 year old. Newport is a beautiful little city but looks even better from the water.

My wife and our dog thoroughly enjoyed the cruise. The narrator was knowledgeable and entertaining. We learned about the history and culture of the area, and were able to see things you corks see from the water. We would highly recommend this trip.

A good time was had by all! My mother-in-law is on a walker, and was well cared for. Getting on and off this converted, once a lobster boat, now a tourist boat, was made pretty easy by the ramp access. The crew (Johnny, Jeff and Mo) were very pleasant throughout, providing commentary along the way, answering questions when asked, and... More

The boat for this tour was a wonderfully converted and restored lobster boat. It provides upstairs and main deck bench seating (sitting around the edge facing not the boat) covered. The 90 minute cruise and narration was fantastic, especially if you are able to have narration from John - his knowledge was impressive although his jokes were pretty corny... but... More

We had a great harbor tour on Gansett Harbor Cruises. The guide was informative and funny as we cruised through the harbor and the bay. He pointed out various famous sailboats from the America's Cup races, and huge yachts and who owned them. We had a wonderful sunny afternoon, all making it a picture perfect day. Bring your cameras!

This was an excellent tour of the harbor. The ride was smooth, and the narration was interesting and well presented. A choice of several complementary drinks was provided (I highly recommend the frozen lemonade!). The number of passengers was perfect, so there was no crowding or obstruction of the great views from the boat. The tour lasted for 90 minutes,... More

A very enjoyable tour of Newport harbour, we were there during the Boat Show and saw some old Americas cup yachts racing which was an added bonus. Our guide Paul was very knowledgable and enthusiastic which made the tour for us. The boat was very clean, well kept and the frozen lemonade and coffee milkshake were great. A definite must... More

The cruise we took was the 2:30 pm. The day was perfect and the cruise was relaxing. Our narrator gave us lots of interesting information about what we saw. We were waited on with courtesy for the free refreshments or alcoholic beverages we could purchase. We were delighted with our choice!
