We bought super last minute tickets for the Sunset Sail (which included champagne or a beer if you wanted), and were really glad we did. BEAUTIFUL views of the Newport Harbor, and a fantastic sunset. Be warned, it can get reaallllyyy cold on the cruise--they have a limited number of blankets in which you can wrap yourself, but a jacket/scarf/hat... More

We sail the Adirondack Schooner in Newport and New York. The trip is usually a great one..... except for those sails in the beginning of season where there is little sailing and more instruction to the new crew. I chalk it up to learning. More

The boat is nice. The ride very disappointing. We were not given any information on what we were seeing. The captain spent most of his time flirting with one passanger More

My boyfriend and I sailed aboard the Schooner Adirondack II in July 2011 and absolutely loved it. We were on the sunset sail and boy was it a beautiful sight. The sunset alone wasn't just the best part. The boat was beautiful and the crew were just exceptional. The crew gave us great information about the sights around Narragansett Bay... More

We had a great time during our two hour harbor cruise. Not too many passengers and a hard working crew. Capt and crew answered questions and pointed out the harbor sights and gave some background as we passed. Cheap "Dark and Stormys" didn't hurt either. More

I purchased two online tickets for a 12pm sail on a Saturday of a holiday weekend. A week before I got an email asking if it would be ok if we went at 11am instead. We showed up at 11am and were told there weren't enough people and we'd have to come back at 1pm, which threw a wrench into... More

Give you a decent time, well built vessel, but the crew work like slaves and are paid next to nothing. Know that - been there - done that. I think they are overpriced as I am an avid sailor with friends with boats and a member of a yachting club, . More

My husband and I visited Newport over the Labor Day weekend and we decided to try sailing our last day there. We got tickets for the first sail of the day which was around 10am. There were about a dozen people on board-a mix of families with young kids and couples. As we left the harbor, the crew prepared drinks... More
