Nice place to view sail boats and port while relaxing at the bar. We took the shuttle to the fort across the bay while the car was charging at a public power plug.

When you're on the Wharf in downtown Newport it's nice to sit on the Adirondak chairs and have an iced coffee from the shop or some ice cream from Ben & Jerry's - you can even grab some chowder to go from the Black Pearl shack. Lots of access to the ships, shops and other eateries.

It's full of places in the summer to have drinks outside by the water and shop until you drop. Also available are sunset and daytime sailings. A nice seaside destination spot.

This is an amazing festival on the water. Three was many areas to buy food and beverages. There was a band and the beautiful view of the water.

I spend a day in May wondering around Newport for the first time in over 40 years since I left Newport. Bowen's Wharf and Bannister's Wharf are side by side. Delightful places to poke around with excellent shops and restaurants. Some restored/adapted old buildings and the new buildings fit in with the "rustic/weathered' look of shingles and clapboard. A 1000%... More

Bannister's Wharf and Bowen's Wharf are side by side and both have nice restaurants, shops, and views of the harbor. Dining, shopping and just relaxing are all here. Definitely worth a visit while in town.

We happened to have gone to Newport at the right time this weekend. It was a last minute thing and we were wondering why we hit some traffic! How lucky were we. It was the Seafood Festival and was a great time to go. We were able to get parking in one of the public lots so that wasn't a... More
