"Make your own" hand blown glass ornament or paperweight with lots of help from a skilled glassblower (the glass you make takes 2 days to cool, so you can come back, or arrange for us to ship it to you). Give us a call to schedule a glassblowing experience or come on in and see what is available. We have beautiful hand blown glass gifts for moms, weddings, dads, and grads, made here in our studio on the premises. There is no charge to watch the glassblowing. See you soon!

I'm a big fan of glass art and loved this place, very friendly staff and beautiful pieces - one of which now has pride of place at home alongside similar pieces by Lithuanian and Czech artists. I even bought my mum a souvenir from here and sent it back to Australia!

beautiful blown glass. I went there to check it out, ended up buying many Christmas gifts! They also have a window in the gift shop where you can watch them blow glass, and even let you make your own glass piece (for an extra cost).

My husband and I came here to make ornaments or our Christmas tree. You have to call to setup a time to go, they had a lot of options so that wasn't an issue. Once you arrive they don't waste any time getting you setup and making your very own glass blown ornament! For the ornament you get to choose... More

I have been coming to Newport now for over 30 years and the first place I always go to is Thames Glass to see what's new. I am a huge glass collector and just love everything in this store, from the glass miniatures, ornaments, dragons, mermaids, snowmen, candy and glass vegetables. I love their glass jewelry also.

Prior to visiting the Newport area I did a little homework. This was something on the list and I made an appointment to blow glass the day after we arrived. If you choose to participate in a glass blowing class the item that you make needs two days to cure so planning in advance is important or you must have... More

A little further south than the main shopping and dining area on Thames Street, the glass shop is definitely worth the walk. Do it yourself ornaments, paper weights, vases and plates, plus other interesting hand blown glass items. There is an inside and outside window to observe people make their own blown glass item.

We decided to check this place out based on other reviews. We were not disappointed. We wanted to walk off our lunch and after calling the shop to ascertain that they were not busy, we headed to the shop which was at the end of Thames Street. There was plenty of street parking as it was not quite summer yet.... More

Super experience blowing Christmas ornaments with my kids and adult friends. Spend a bit more, adults, and do a paperweight, which will beautify your desk for ages. Nice people....
