We were in Newport in April and chose the Viking Tour because the vehicle had enclosed windows. Our guide -- forget his name -- was a long time resident and provided a lot of insightful information about the area. Although I've been to Newport several times, it was a great way to get re-familiarize with the town. Our guide provided... More

Open air trolley tour of the main attractions of Newport was just the thing to get oriented in the city. Our guide Carlos was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. He spoke of history, culture and current events and even threw in a bit of gossip.

This is a good way to get an overview of Newport. The trolley car is not the most comfortable but as expected with the trolley. Do book a tour with a visit to one of the mansions or you will be disappointed.

We went on Saturday and our tour guide Ann was AMAZING! Her knowledge of the city, the history, everything made it a great tour. We did the one mansion tour and saw the Marble House which was beautiful - it sounded like the other mansions were amazing as well from what we heard from other people on our trolley. We... More

Really enjoyed our sight seeing tour with this company. We did the Scenic tour with admission to The Breakers mansion. Our driver, Jim was very interesting and informative. We could never have done this and known what we are seeing on our own. The Breakers was amazing, so glad we chose that option!

We were overwhelmed with driving & directions in Newport. Our tour guide Ann was great - enjoyed a good overview tour of this beautiful city & a tour of The Breakers - good value except for the parking - much less expensive to park along Marlborough & walk to catch trolley.

Driving Bellevue Ave and Ocean Drive is easy we have done it but we didn't know what was what.decide to take the Trolley Tour ( without admission to mansions, as we did that (independently ). Our guide was great. Learned more about the history of Newport. Would of enjoyed more if it was a hop on hop off trolley, allowing... More

We took the scenic tour in Newport and enjoyed it very much. The tour drove us by many areas in Newport without us having to do the driving. Having said that - the driver was overly chatty about things that had nothing to do with Newport and because of this chattiness we left 20 minutes late. We still got our... More

This silly reproduction of an old trolley is uncomfortable and unsuitable for 90 minute tours. Seats are hard wooden benches with no back support and too little leg room. What a dumb and unsafe way to haul people around. The driver drove with one hand on the wheel and one hand holding the microphone, because he was also the narrator.... More

There are many tours of Newport available, but I am so happy I chose this one. In fact, I was so impressed, I did it a second time with my spouse. The tour drivers were so knowledgeable and funny. The history and stories they told added so much to all that we saw. We took in all of the high... More
