We had a wonderful morning mimosa cruise on the Rum Runner! The mimosas were plentiful, and Nora the first mate kept us entertained with historical facts and funny stories. A great way to spend the morning on the water while learning a little more about Newport's history - if the weather is good, I'd highly recommend a trip on the... More

Visited Newport at the end of August and top on our list was a ride on the Rum Runner and they didn't disappoint! Nora was our guide and knew everything about each lighthouse we went by on our lighthouse tour. The mimosas were fabulous and she could not have taken better care of all of us. Loved that she spent... More

We have taken this trip twice, the last time this past weekend. We had the 4 people in my family as well as my 87 year old Mother In Law. This trip is a lot of fun, and Mark the captain, and Nora, the 1st mate were both very knowledgeable about what we saw as we took the 75 minute... More

This was totally worth it! Saw Jackie O's summer home, mansions, lighthouses etc. all narrated on board. You will get a bit wet when they crank it up. Water was rough but so much fun!!!!

Glad you enjoyed your cruise. Rum Runner II was built in 1929 to outrun the Coast Guard during the Prohibition Era so she's a boat with a lot of history to her. We like to show people what she was built for so we definitely open her up if the conditions are right. She also gets in a lot of... More

My best friend and I had the best tour aboard the Rum Runner II! Thanks to Nora and her crew -- we had continuous mimosas, nonstop stories and information, and a fabulous experience! Beautiful and clean boat with breathtaking views!! Definitely will choose this same boat for bringing friends in future!

We enjoyed a well run mimosa and lighthouse tour. It was prompt, clean and comfortable. Great sightseeing and good information shared by the crew. Very reasonable price for what you get. (Croissants, too.)

We started the morning Lighthouses and Mimosas cruise in 2013 and it quickly rose to the top for our most popular tour on Rum Runner II. Listening to the legends of the lighthouses and sipping mimosas (and don't forget the fresh baked croissants) while cruising on a 1929 classic motor yacht... the perfect way to start your day in Newport. Our Smugglers Cocktail Cruise each evening is a great way to unwind after a day of touring. Guests can sit back, relax, sip a rum punch (or beer) and enjoy the scenery while listening to some great music. This trips sells out every weekend during the summer months so always good to book early. More

Unlimited mimosas and croissants while you get a tour of the water. The captain and crew were well educated for the tour and great. A fun boat ride to start the trip.

Hi Kelly, You happened to be on our newest and most popular cruise we do - our morning Lighthouses and Mimosas cruise. For people who don't live along the coastline, the lighthouse cruise is a great (and informative) trip to introduce the nautical side of our tours. Lighthouses are so popular and serving mimosas and croissants (as well as bottled... More
