In preparation for my annual Fall trip to Newport, I decided to contact Segway of Newport after reading favorable comments about them on your website. Since I am a senior citizen, I wasn't sure if this was the right activity for me. Boy was I wrong...it was great fun! The staff and instructors were professional, knowledgable and extremely attentive to... More

We had a great time touring Newport on a Segway. It was great being able to be outside instead of in a trolly or a bus. After the first 15 minutes you are very comfortable and able to enjoy the rest of your tour. More

Two 70 year olds on segways --- Can you picture that? Well, I can say we did it and would do it again if we get the chance. The two teachers were very patient -- we signed our waivers, put on our helmets and proceeded to learn how to ride. We practiced in a drive way using cones as obstacles... More

This was a great time. I wanted to take the cliff walk tour, but it was not available. The tour I took was just a good. It was a cold afternoon, but I had a great time. We went all over town. The tour guide was fantastic, and was very informative. I will take a Segway tour wherever I go!... More

After getting great instructions from Andrew on how to "drive" the Segway, we started on our Mansion Tour. Jenna gave us her hand motion instructions and off we went slow, faster, left, right, miss the bumps and storm grates and stop for mansion information. I would suggest to anyone going to Newport to take this tour. More

The tour guide had a fantastic personality and made the tour a lot of fun. I think his name was Andrew. My husband and I had never used a Segway before, and learned that once you get used to them, they are a LOT of fun. I would definitely do this again and highly recommend it! More

My husband and I visited Newport on Sunday, October 9. We were there for the day on a cruise ship. We decided to try seeing the town via Segway. Neither of us had ever tried a Segway. The staff at Segway of Newport was very professional. The Segways are nearly new and in excellent working order. The staff was very... More

We were in Newport on a cruise ship on October 1st and wanted to do something that was both fun and showed us some sights. When we arrived we we're greeted by our guide who was both patient and a great teacher for two people who had not ridden a Segway before. We spent some time learning the basics and... More
