A great time with a fun cast! It was my mother's birthday and they called her up, but went easy on her and ended up being the highlight of our trip. The BYOB aspect is fun and well catered to with cups and wine keys available. Don't miss this. It's a fun bang for your buck and something different.

I was walking by and saw people entering the building and remembered that friends who had been there had a fantastic evening. The group is very talented and the interaction with the audience is spot on. Laughter truly is the best medicine. If you have a problem with swearing, I would not recommend it.

My fiancé and I visited the fire house theater tonight to see the bit players and it was nothing short of amazing! We went in thinking- byob awesome and a night of laughs would be great and left with more! The team was so professional, fun and as good as any Saturday night live skit I have ever seen or... More

I had never been to an Improv show but had a great time with The Bit Players at the Firehouse Theater. Definitely recommend it!

Not an appropriate show for teens. We were told in 2 different conversations with firehouse management the show is fine for high school age. It was not appropriate ... and I think it was terrible to not be honest. Lady at front door was also highly rude.

We are so sorry to hear that you and your group did not enjoy the show. I am not sure who told you that it was appropriate for teenagers. I would like to apologize for that and if you felt misled. We always make sure to tell anyone who asks that "there is no age limit but shows are promoted... More

I've gone to see the bit players twice now and they were amazing each time! We LOVE Vlad!! I thought it wouldn't be as funny the second time but was completely wrong as the show is always different. It's easy to call and leave a message for reservations and its always fun to bring a bottle of something to sip... More

We were looking for something to do one evening in Newport and found the Bit Players online. We were lucky enough to get last minute tickets -- I would make reservations in the future. It's BYOB and there is a liquor store half a block away. It was hilarious and we had a great time! The audience participation is key... More

Caught the Bit Players Improv on New Year's Eve. Very clever comedy troupe. We could have stayed for all three shows because each one is governed by the words thrown out by the audience. The 9PM show was sold out so caught the 7PM show. Small theater so all seats are good. Plus you can BYOB. What a deal. When... More
