The bit players were very entertaining. A fun night out. Come with your 'thinking cap' because they take audience suggestions.

Thoroughly enjoyed locals night, though we are tourists, watching this improv group. Very funny. It is BYOB so bring in whatever beverage is desired. The audience is called on to yell out suggestions for bits. We laughed throughout the hour long show. It was a special night, being the birthday of one of the player's girlfriends. The improve group brought... More

It was an entertaining evening. It is just like the show, whose line is it anyway, so if you like that, then you will enjoy this show. They do skits based on feedback from the audience. You will laugh a lot. Reasonably priced and BYOB.

My wife and I visited the Firehouse Theater with some family a couple of weeks ago and were not disappointed. The Bit Players have some great talent in their group. It seemed like everyone on stage had something unique to contribute to the performance. We loved the crowd interaction, and stayed laughing and entertained from beginning to end. Highly recommend... My wife and I attended a Friday night show. What a good time! The theater seats about 100 and is a byob. Cozy crowd and the laughs just didn't stop. The show is all improv so be prepared to work a little. You throw suggestions at the performers and they roll with it..very funny. Good way to spend an evening!

I found this on Trip Advisor when planning our weekend in Newport. We were not disappointed! Only $15 for 2 hours of fun. We laughed so hard we cried. Do not miss this. Make reservations and arrive around 7:30 for the best seats. Part of the charm is seeing how much fun the Bit Players are having while entertaining us.

We went to see the Bit Players at the Firehouse Theater last Friday evening, and were very happy with the occasion. My wife's college roommate ( a lot of years ago!) who lives in Narragansett recommended this entertainment, and it lived up to every bit of her characterization. The venue is a low rent small auditorium, with maybe fifty seats... More

The Bit Players were great! We brought a bottle of wine and had gotten there about 30 minutes prior to curtain, so we had good seats and could chill out while waiting for the show to begin. We'll consider returning next time we're in Newport!
