Definitely the best beach in newport and there is a lot to do with small children....swing set, carousel, aquarium...in addition to the beach! The showers and restrooms are nice, and I love the twin lobster rolls at the snack bar. Great price for them. Only complaint would be the red tide...so much red seaweed. But spacious beach and we enjoy... More

Excellent place to relax and enjoy the summer weather. Free parking nearby as well as a small aquarium which is excellent for the kids. Walking distance from the Cliff Walk if you decide to do some hiking before or after the beach.

Easton's Beach is a great family beach, flat with easy swimming. There is a carousel there and a small marine biology/aquarium interesting, especially for small children. Friendly staff explains topics. The beach snack bar has quite possibly the best affordable lobster rolls we've ever had.

We enjoyed a Friday afternoon at the beach. There was lots of red kelp in the first 100 feet of the ocean. Our kids were loving wave jumping and building sand castles. Very clean, easy parking, nice sand. The kelp stuck to the kids bodies and hair - even after showering twice. It took a couple days to get it... More

We went last weekend to get some of the cabin fever out of our system.Took several walks on this beach over the course of the weekend. Can see the mansions from here.We just love walking the beach when there isn't a lot of people around. It isn't a really long beach, but about 45 minutes to walk it back and forth at a... We had a very ice time at this beach. The water is colder, but that is expected being in Rhode Island. There was a lot of red algae on the beach, but you can just walk down to avoid it. Obviously, the algae is not easy on the eyes, however we had a good time in spite of it. Large... More

We live down the road and this place is great. Traffic is terrible and parking is horrendous in the summer, but once you're there, you're set. Ride your bike if you can. There are bathrooms and food vendors in the summer. You can even take your dog after hours and in the winter. It does get windy during the cold... More

Only strolled along the beach. It was clear of litter and pleasant to walk on. Parking was free, apparently this is the case after Labour Day (not sure when that is coming from the uk as I do. Sometime in Sept?) I have read other reviews mentioning the smell of the beach but while I was here there was no... More

The views are spectacular. The rushing tide is a sight to behold. I recommend Eastern Beach for walks or just basking in the beauty. Put it on your must see list
