There are certainly nice areas here that make this a pleasant drive or bike ride (watch the traffic as well as the scenery). However, its not Carmel, the Oregon coast or the western Irish coast. More

The fog hadn't lifted all the way so you didn't get the views of the ocean. If you go to King's Beach Fishing Site beware the dirt road to it has many pot holes. It was amazing to see all the new "mansions" going up. More

A beautiful oceanview drive for anyone and everyone. If you are in Newport you must take the drive/walk/job/bicycle ride and bring a kite so that you can fly it at Ocean Drive State Park (they have restrooms too!) Pull over and sit along the rocks and watch the waves roll in. Oh don't forget your camera and at the end... More

I know it's called Ocean Drive but you really need to walk part of it if possible. So much you miss when in your car. Great photo opportunities. I loved it. Beautiful homes, ocean views, greenery and architecture. A must see besides the mansions. More
