Buffalo was the wetern end of the Erie Canal in 1825. And we were about to bicycle the entire lenth of the 400 mile Erie Canalway Trail. from Buffalo to Albany. So we started off with this boat tour which took us along the Buffalo water routes and explained how the Erie Canal transformed Buffalo from a sleepy town to... More

Six of us did the Miss Buffalo cruise a few weeks ago and it was terrific. It's so nice to learn more about the local history, see a different side (literally) of the Peace Bridge, water intake, Blackrock canal, etc. There's also a bar on board that serves pitchers of beer. We got a spot near a speaker in the... More

We purchased our tickets on Groupon - got a great deal and it was super easy to make a reservation on the phone. Check in upon arrival was also a breeze with friendly, helpful staff. The "Miss Buffalo" boat was big enough to hold a large crowd and seat everyone comfortably. Our cruise took us out into Lake Erie then... More

A Buffalo River trip along the outer harbor is a great way to see Buffalo, get a sense for what it once was and see the Erie Canal. Leaving from Canalside, this is close and convenient and provides a different and interesting perspective.

We walked over to the Canalside park and took the Buffalo River history tour. We learned the history of the river, the grain silos and how they worked. After touring the river we then went into Lake Erie. Great time and very informative.

My wife and I visited in August and took the Harbor cruise. It was very windy so we had to stay behind the sea wall, but I'd have to say that this was the most informative, enjoyable harbor cruise I have ever been. Excellent tour guide gave very interesting history and background of Buffalo. Both my wife and I thoroughly... More

I'm not a boat person, and this cruise definitely changed my mind! The tour guide is incredibly informative, and the view is amazing.

This was a repeat for us, as we hadn't done it in years. Well worthwhile way to learn about Buffalo and enjoyable time on the water. Narrator was very good.
