At last! What a wonderful place to bring visitors to buffalo. Lots of activities to do or just pack a lunch and enjoy the sunset.

Although the weather was cold and windy, my husband and I toured the Erie Basin Marina and took some fantastic pictures. This entire area is beautiful even if not yet in season. It is clean, safe and lots of things to do downtown. Lake Erie still has lots of ice but boy was it pretty ice covered. This is a... More

REFRESHING- breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the serenity! So thankful the gates aren't locked for winter and you can take in the scenery- frozen lake and nature watching - was hoping to see a snowy owl, but no luck this time - will be back many more times

We stumbled across this gem while exploring Buffalo with little or no guidance. Beautiful waterfront.

Every summer we take a sail on the miss Buffalo for a boat ride, if you just take a walk around the marina you'll find so much peace and tranquility in abundance. Dont miss the jewel in the Queen city crown.

Normally I don't climb the observation deck when visiting Erie Basin Marina even though there are under a hundred stairs. I find the concrete unattractive and there is a dank feeling. However, when you get to the top the view is beautiful! You can enjoy the cityside but my favorite views are out over the lake and down the river.... More

The Marina is one of Buffalo's special gems. There are always boats coming and going. The flowers are lovely and well cared for. Parking is rarely a problem. While it's lovely for a stroll along the waterfront at any time, it especially comes into its own at sunset. The views across the water are outstanding, usually with rich color. It's... More

My friend and I discovered the marina while aimlessly driving around Downtown Buffalo. It definitely was an incredible find! We entered the marina and were both amazed by the beautiful lakeside views. We even saw colorful gardens situated along the waters. There are no parking fees, which is unheard-of to us New York City natives. Before exploring the marina, my... More

After eating at The Hatch Restaurant located at this Waterfront Marina, we took a stroll and was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful gardens planted along the sidewalks. I then recognized the flowers; the flowers were supplied by Ball Horticultural Co and PanAmerican Seed co, the company I work for! How lovely to see these flowers in a natural setting and... More

The gardens at the Erie Basin Marina are beautiful. The plants have labels on them so you can research ones that you like. The marina is connected to the Naval Park and Canalside. The Hatch is a great casual restaurant to eat at.
