Had fun exploring the waterfront. Had a local market for produce that day. Also it was easy to get from our hotel using the free train just outside our hotel.

On a beautiful late summer day we decided to go down and check out this much improved area in Downtown Buffalo. The gardens were in full bloom the sun shining and the Lake (Erie) calm. We had a prepaid voucher to take the tour on the ( Miss Buffalo) around the river, lake and locks. The Miss Buffalo is an... More

The Marina is a wonderful place to visit when it's hot outside. You always get a nice breeze off Lake Erie. It's fun to take your beach chairs and just set up on the grass and watch the sunset, and the sail boats pass by. It gets crowded, and parking can be tough, but well worth a visit. Small restaurant... More

So much to do and see ! Family and friends have fun down by Lake Erie. Enjoy beautiful sunsets while eating at some of the restaurant down by the lake. Many things to do during the summer time and yes even during the winter.

Great place to walk along the water and grab a hot dog and fries or an ice cream cone. Most people don't know this...including most local residents..., but, if you can manage to get to around the 35th floor of what used to be called the Marine Midland Center building....can't keep up with the name changes around here...you can see... Buffalo finally enters into the cities where the downtown is rocking. The marina is super active with many concerts and other entertainment. Come on down and lets rock!

This area still looks good after all these years. Growing pains in this popular area have put a strain on parking. Current construction has disrupted the restaurant, but operations continue. Park and walk the stone walkway. Climb the lighthouse and check out the view. Simple gardens near the entrance. A pleasant stop for seniors looking for a spot to plant... More

Went biking around here after visiting the adjacent canal side. The road was smooth and the low speed limit allowed us to bike ride on the road without being run over by cars. The scenery of the city and lake are spectacular from this place

Loved the custard and ice cream shop here but the area was very dirty! Dog poop was everywhere and there was trash all over the grounds. The area is scenic and has a lot of potential...but the trash/poop was a big negative.
