We did this tour on a Sunday afternoon and fell in love with this concept. Laura was fantastic...no cheat sheets and very engaging stories. This woman knows her stuff. The food was awesome, different and filling. The tour had the perfect balance of walking and eating. I loved the sites, sounds and tastes of Elmwood. I can't wait to do... More

The Buffalo Bites Food Tour was a great experience. All of the food was excellent and our guide, Laura, did a great job sharing some of the local history. The only recommendation I would make is to cut down on some of the walking. It was a bit more than I was expecting and several members of the tour decided... More

A fabulous tour, melding food, history, architecture, ambiance, and beauty. The tour includes a diverse taste of cuisine within a historic district, and gives you definitely more than just a taste! Traditional wings/beer at Cole's, Watson's famous sponge candy(had to go back later to purchase the orange chocolate ONLY available in Buffalo), but also including flavors from Thai to health... I went on a Buffalo Bites tour this past Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed it! Our guide Sue was very knowledgeable in providing history of the village. It felt like I was in History class again! Being a reasonably newcomer to East Aurora it gave me a deep appreciation of how and why things are preserved in this great community. The... More

I am a lifelong Buffalo native, and I shared this tour with 6 of my friends and 7 women from all over the country who met online and had a weekend get-together here. We walked the Elmwood village area, and were treated to tastings at seven restaurants/retail stores along the way. The tour took 4 hours and covered 2 total... More

Yesterday I went on a Buffalo Bites tour in East Aurora. Sue, our tour guide, was very enthusiastic and informative about East Aurura. And some was from living in town which gave the tour a personal touch. The food was delicious and a good variety. I highly recommend a tour for a delightful afternoon.

We had a great time on this tour. It was an excellent way to spend a summer afternoon. Laura our tour guide was very knowledgeable about Buffalo's history. Definately worth the money and I would recommend this tour to out of town people and locals.

Laura did a great job guiding us through our "rain and shine" tour. With umbrellas in tow, 8 of us walked the Elmwood Village neighborhood stopping to learn about historic homes and the people who lived in them. On this tour, you definitely will not be hungry! We tasted great sandwiches on artisan bread, homemade sponge candy, chicken wings and... More
