We received the tour as a gift certificate at Christmas. We wanted to use it during the warm summer as we new it involved walking. We're not sure which we enjoyed more- learning so much interesting history in the city we both grew up in or the delicious foods, treats and beverages we sampled during the tour. You definitely will be... More

I recently took the the East Aurora Epicurian food tour and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sue, the tour guide was amazing. She was very knowledgeable of East Aurora's history and really enjoyed all the stories. The food was amazing and walking in between food places was great. I enjoyed spending my afternoon with Sue and all our group of wonderful people.... More

We received a Buffalo Bites gift certificate as a present and put it to excellent use for a tour on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Laura guided our small group that consisted entirely of Buffalo natives. It says a lot that all of us learned things that we did not know about the Elmwood Village and Buffalo on the tour. We... We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with the Buffalo Bites Food Tour of Elmwood Village in Buffalo NY. The main goal of the tour is to learn about and enjoy the history of the neighbourhood and similarly the eateries that were planned for our stops. Our guide did a great job of putting our small group at ease. As we went... More

What a great tour and delicious tastings! Our tour guide, Laura, offered a wealth of information on historical sites and streets on the Elmwood strip. The restaurants, candy store and Lexington Coop food tastings were awesome. I would recommend this not only to out of town visitors, but long time Buffalo residents who don't know much about the background and... More

Walk around the Elmwood Village and learn lots of history about the beautiful homes and businesses. Tour host was very knowledgeable. 4 hours long but broken up with stops at restaurants for samples(tour is approx. 2 miles). Food quality and quantity were very sufficient. Great for visiting business people with a little time to spare. Also enjoyable for locals (myself... More

On Saturday I attended a Buffalo Bites Food Tour in East Aurora and had a delightful time. The food was delicious and plentiful and our tour guide, Sue, was exceptional. She covered so many interesting facts about the village without making us feel like it was too much information or delivered at the wrong time. I'd definitely recommend this tour... More

Friendly and knowledgeable Tour Host. Come hungry. Walkable neighborhood. Tasty treats, but especially liked the telling of the history of the restaurant, place or period of time - a bit of Buffalo History. Not just wings and pizza; tho the wings from Cole's were excellent; but went to businesses I would not have thought about going into. Diverse and unique... More

We had the greatest time! Food was delicious and we learned a ton! Sue was a fabulous guide with endless knowledge about everything. We traveled from Syracuse to East Aurora for the tour and would definitely make the trip again!! Just a great experience all around. Worth every penny!

Sue was a wonderful guide, and the food and the stories were great! Having lived in East Aurora for a few years, I didn't expect to learn as much as I did. The food was great and I was happy to discover new places to take the vegan members of my family, that will have food that everyone will enjoy.
