When I heard that this was the oldest zoo in Amercia, and approved by the Association of Zoos and Aquariams, I couldn't wait to get there. When I finally saw the zoo, I was more than disappointed. Having a reciprical zoo pass, my party and I managed to get in for quite cheap. But that's hardly what it was worth.... more

when i was a kid my class took a trip to buffalo and when whent to this zoo. i loved it all the animals and i loved the gorillas and polar bears so when my kids where little we all took a trip and things hadent changed much but i still loved it this past year for my sons feild... more

My family is spoiled because I grew up right near the Bronx Zoo, and my kids are growing up near the National Zoo. They've visited both zoos and the Central Park Zoo. So they were not as excited about this zoo as was their five year old "cousin" who is zoo mad and had never been to a really good... more

This was quite a nice zoo! The grizzly bear and polar bear exhibits were super - I've never had an unobstructed view of a polar bear so close! We also saw a presentation where the zookeepers gave one of the elephants a bath and allowed the audience to feed her crackers after. We very much enjoyed these unique aspects and... more

The Buffalo Zoo has to be one of--if not the cleanest and nicest zoos. I make a habit of stopping at aquariums and zoos on each trip I make--no matter what state! My husband and I stopped here on our way back from Niagara Falls, NY. The zoo was close by, so it makes a nice day trip. The zoo... more
