Description: A National Historic Landmark designed by Eliel and Eero Saarinen, the hall...
A National Historic Landmark designed by Eliel and Eero Saarinen, the hall was constructed in 1940 as the permanent home of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Since then, it has also become home to Just Buffalo Literary Center's Babel Series and the Buffalo Chamber Music Society's performances. It is frequently used for weddings, corporate meetings, and performances by local organizations. Each spring, more than 10,000 people receive their high school or college diplomas on the Kleinhans stage.

Came in for the Alan Parsons concert. Great sound in venue. Nice size not too big. Easy in and out parking.

I have been to two events at Kleinhans since returning to Buffalo recently. I sat in the balcony for the first event and in the orchestra for the Mozart concert. Seating room is sufficient and acoustics are great. Kleinhans is one of the largest music halls in the world. A real buffalo gem for the past 75 years.

Have been here many times. The acoustics are fabulous. Virtually no bad seat in the small auditorium. The only downside, parking can be a pain in the neck. One of those places that could be easily overlooked but should not be. There are many great restaurants in the immediate area for an after performance dinner.

I have been at Kleinhans a number of times to hear the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra. Always great place to listen to a variety of music including classical and rock & roll. Good size, but if you go to listen to piano concerts, get seats on the left hand side of the stage to watch the pianist hands. The volunteers are... More

Great shows, the sound system can be very dissappointing, I prefer the A Section, hopefully no one tall in stature will sit in front of you. I always meet someone interesting sitting next to me. There are still friendly people always willing to be neighborly.

There is no better place to hear a concert than Kleinhans. Acoustics are phenomenal. If there is one downside, however, it is the parking. Very small lot near the building, with most parking on the adjacent side streets.

Kleinhans Music Hall has been a Buffalo landmark since 1940 and is as fresh and exciting as it was back then. Actually, I'm not that old but do remember going there in the 50s. I never tire of it whether I'm there for a concert or other large gathering. The acoustics are fantastic. I was fortunate enough to see the... More
