So happy to live near this quaint village. Tons of shopping in boutiques and restaurants and a healthy grocery store/co-op. This is Buffalos' best kept secret.

Buffalo is weird... Big new streets with a few cars and not many pedestrians either... This image changes around Elmwood Village, alive and full of nice restaurants and shops. Check Second Chic (AMAZING bargains on lovley pieces), Anna Grace (funky jewellery), Ro (home) and Shoe Fly. At least those were my favorites.

Delightful neighbourhood, very 'walkable' with a good mix of shops and restaurants, including a quirky little coffee shop/book store. Side streets filled with interesting architecture.

We stumbled upon this little area in Buffalo, New York that we were advised to pay a visit. It's called Elmwood Village. We were not disappointed. It was 10 or 11 minutes from the Peace Bridge and not difficult to find, good old GPS. We got to see crafts, farm goods, home-made goods, vendors of all styles and after that... More

The Elmwood Village is the premier place for tourists to visit in Buffalo. There are blocks of charming shops, wonderful restaurants and cafés and side streets lined with beautiful Victorian homes. Visit during the Summer Garden Tour and see the gardens of many of these homes on display.

We stopped by on a Thur evening. Browsed around the co-op and a very trendy consignment shop across the street. Lots of restaurants with outdoor seating, will have to check them out on our next visit

Elmwood Village is home to a number of very fine shops where we never fail to find at least one treasure. We find the quality quite high and the prices not bad. In general, the shop personnel have been quite friendly and helpful. There are a great number of interesting & ethnic restaurants as well.

Loved the shopping and eateries. I especially liked the food co-op. You can find almost anything on Elmwood.

Friendly, welcoming, walkable, and interesting are the first words that pop into my head when I think of the Elmwood Village. Within a mile you can shop at the Lexington Real Foods Co-op (everyone is welcome, member , or not); you can browse the multitude of shops including gourmet, apparel, and jewelry; you can step inside the Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian...
