DId some shoping in the elmwood villiage area. The shops were quaint and very eclectic. Prices ranged from reasonable to moderate. Shop owners were very friendly. Suprised at how late they stayed open in the winter which is nice for travelors who are limtted for time and want to get in as much sightseeing and shopping in a few days... More

This is a cute little area. There are a ton of restaurants and small boutiques to check out. However, the elmwood area stretches over 1-2 miles, making it a bit difficult to take in all at once.

This is a great area to walk around shop and eat. The shop owners are wonderful to talk to and very helpful. Many artists in this area and unique items. Even in the cold shops are close by to go from one to other. Little leaves , Love that bookstore!!!

Maybe the time of the year (winter)? Maybe I have travelled too much? But other then some lovely historic areas of houses, I didn't get it. Seemed like a college town strip of shops and "eats". Maybe try again in the spring.

My wife and a friend walked around the Elmwood Village and the reason I gave it a Very Good rating rather than just an average is that I was encouraged by the major renovations that were taking place at a couple of buildings. It is clearly an area that seems to be improving and on the upswing. Although it is... More

Elmwood Village is supposed to be this great neighbourhood in the USA but we couldn't help but feel disappointed with the main street. The surrounding houses and parks are absolutely gorgeous! There are lots of restaurants in the area but the we were disappointed with the shopping. We expected more classy women's stores and other classy establishments.

Knowledgable friendly shop owners assist you. Things you cannot find elsewhere. They are willing and able to ship.

My wife and I walked from the top of Elwood to City Hall. Great shops and restaurants. Found an old picture shop which I loved.

There are unique shops here that house some interesting pieces of art. I bought something very cool and the shop keeper will ship it for me.
