Elmwood Village is where I shop such as Talking Leaves (my local bookstore), Everything Elmwood (for quirky items and birthday gifts), Spoiled Rotten (for everything Buffalo and Elmwood Pet Supplies (for my animals food, treats and toys). Some of my favorite restaurants and bars are on Elmwood too (ex. Cole's, Blue Monk, Casa-Di-Pizza, Pano's, etc). During the summer and fall... More

I live in the area, so maybe I am biased. But, I love living in this area. Many places to eat, shop. Luckily I have my own parking space, because parking is at a premium. But a great place to live.

I enjoy the shops of Elmwood Village, especially the Lexington co-op, Studio 806, and the unique small boutiques. Nice that there are things not elsewhere and Starbucks, and loved the summer street fair. Elmwood Village is often part of my morning or afternoon walks as it is close to Chapin Parkway. I think the now out- of- business gas station... More

Most of these reviews are written by people who have never traveled anywhere outside of Buffalo. Yes there are restaurants, nothing trendy or inspiring. Shops are same old shops you see everywhere. If you are expecting a French Quarter or Key West shopping experience you will be very disappointed. Yes this village is a " nice area" of Buffalo, but... More

We checked out Elmwood Village based on a search on Trip Advisor. Glad we went. Was nice to see families out for walks, friends getting together for lunch, people walking their canine companions. There were a few places we drove through that were a bit depressing so this was a welcome change. We wandered through some shops, our kids bought... More

The Elmwood Village is a unique neighborhood with many shops and lots of restaurants and bars. It is close to Buffalo State College as well as incredible art galleries and Delaware Park. You can walk the "Elmwood Strip" and stop at nearby parks. During summer there are free concerts and farmers markets. You will find a very diverse collection of... More

A variety of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, clothing and gifty stores, a great bookstore - and residential side streets filled with beautiful houses. In warm weather, take a break on Bidwell Parkway - one of Buffalo's Olmsted designed parkways.

I love meeting up with my sister's and friends to shop at the Elmwood strip! We have so much fun and find the best gifts! Naturally, we stop for a few beverages and delicious eats as well

Lots of little shops and wonderful locally owned restaurants Easy walking and lots of activity!! Start at either end of the strip either on the North with Albright Knox art gallery and Burchfield Penney Arts Center and walk down to wonderful restaurants including Trattoria Aroma on Bryant, or Toros
