They have completed the exterior work, and even though the interiors are not quite done, it is definitely worth a visit soon. Seeing the complex as Wright designed it with the Pergola, conservatory and carriage house back was just wonderful. We then went to see Graycliff -- the Martin's summer home -- great location. more

As my TA name would imply, I am quite the fan of Frank L Wright, and as such, touring the DD Martin house has always been a dream of mine. And the reality turned out to be as good as the dream. Not only is the house itself a true masterpiece and a one of a kind work of art,... more

The preservation effort has gone through extraordinary efforts to rebuild the FLW gem. After being abandoned, partially torn down and sub-divided, it is well on its way to return as it originally was in the early 1900's. more
