My friend and I took the Whirlwind Tour with Paul, or guide, yesterday. We came from Jamestown to do so, and it was well worth the trip to Buffalo. Paul was an energetic, well-informed, enthusiastic guide who kept us enthralled the whole time. We hope that these fine tours will continue to be offered.

We (my teen and I) decided to head to the Larkin market, shop, eat, and then go on the tour. It was an awesome outing. I learned so much about the area and really enjoyed finding treasures in an area that I might otherwise just drive by. The tour guide knew so much about Buffalo and I hope his enthusiasm... More

Our tour started after consuming food at food truck Tuesday at Larkinville. The tour lasted an hour and a half and the tour guide made it so interesting that we did not want the trip to end. Tour guide was very educated, funny, informed and knew so much about Buffalo's past. Highly recommended!! We would go agiain next year, as... More

I took this open air bus tour in conjunction with the Food Truck Tuesday at the Larkin District. I learned so much about the industrial past of this great city, all from an enthusiastic and passionate tour guide that knows way more about this city than imaginable. Who knew there is such an amazing view of the city's industrial silos... More

The tour was fantastic. It was informative, insightful, and great fun. The pace was perfect. Clearly Tim Tielman is a true expert on architecture and history, and his enthusiasm is contagious. This tour is wonderful for international visitors, Buffalo locals and everyone in between.

We went on the open air tour of the Buffalo marathon course. Learned so much more in our two hour tour about the history and sites of Buffalo. It is run by the Campaign for Greater Buffalo History, a non-profit dedicated to making buffalo a better place through encouraging the Arts, history, and preservation. I highly recommend. We brought visiting relatives on an open air tour and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The guides are extremely well versed in the history and architecture of the area and give a detailed description. We received a great lesson in both subjects while enjoying the great weather and fantastic sights that Buffalo has to offer. I'd love to do another tour... More

I have been on several tours and love them! Recently my parents and several of their friends met up in Buffalo to take the Whirlwind tour. The tour guide was very entertaining and we had a fantastic time learning about Buffalo's history and architecture.

Today, my family and I took the Open-Air Autobus 'Whirlwind Tour' offered by The Campaign for Greater Buffalo History, Architecture & Culture. We enjoyed it thoroughly. Our tour guide was passionate about his subject, and there was no question that he couldn't answer. That kind of enthusiasm is infectious! If you've ever wanted to know more about the gorgeous buildings... More
