The gentleman who portrayed Theodore Roosevelt seems to be the real Teddy! He stays in character after the show also and greets you as you leave and pictures are a must! He is entertaining as well as informative. It is the second time we have seen him and I wouldn't have missed it. He made me appreciate President Roosevelt more... More

This was an enjoyable hour spent with an excellent Teddy Roosevelt impersonator. He gave a good overview of Teddy's life with some interesting stories behind the events that are not well known. The only draw-backs were that Teddy started 10 minutes late, which made us anxious about making another tour on-time, and the noise level of the audience was unbearable.... More

This is worth the time and money. We sat up front with our kids and granddaughters. Before long, it was almost as if Roosevelt was there. Would recommend doing this before going to the park as it helped gain a new appreciation of Roosevelt and his life. Would not recommend for 4 and younger.

We're not big history buffs, but my wife and I really enjoyed getting to know Teddy and his wife. We walked away with a new appreciation of his accomplishments, humor, and general attitude toward life -- very inspiring! Cost of the show was only $9.50, and it was well worth it.

We attended the Salute to Teddy Roosevelt held in the Old Town Hall Theater. What a great experience it was. The portrayal of President Roosevelt was magnificent. After the show, he takes questions from the audience, so do a little research before you go and can ask a question from a historical perspective.

This was my three-year-old and I's first time seeing Joe Wiegand's performance as Teddy Roosevelt, my 10-year-old's second time, and my mother-in-law's third. We all loved it! My MIL says it changes a little bit each time and "Teddy" definitely plays to his audience. It was a long show for my little one, but she was rewarded in the end... More

This show is an excellent way to spend an hour and a half, being thoroughly entertained while still not spending all that much money. Joe Wiegand's performance is superb and done without cue cards or a teleprompter. He presents facts interspersed with humor and even found time to present a Teddy Bear to a little girl in the audience who... More

You feel that you have just spent an hour and a half with Theodore Roosevelt. Dressed and acting in character tells the story of his life. Keeping in character answers questions in the end. His knowledge of Roosevelt is phenomenal! Very entertaining as well as educational. Highly recommend.

We spent about an hour and a half listening to Theodore Roosevelt discuss his life and times as a child growing up, as a man who discovered the Dakota Badlands following a double tragedy in his life, and as President of the United States. An amazing depiction of our 26th President. The Town Hall Theater is comfortable and elegant, but... More

The man who plays Teddy Roosevelt -Joe Wiegand- IS Teddy Roosevelt. His presentation of TR is engaging, informative and funny! I saw him at the Family Fun Center (in Medora ND), interacting with children (TR LOVED kids), and I saw his performance at the Old Town Hall Theater--you shouldn't miss this because he will introduce you to Teddy Roosevelt (no work...
