Happy to see my opinion isn't out of line

Finally got around to seeing the "Lake Mary" the TV weather guy refers to. What people say here is accurate. I don't even see how it COULD be deep enough for much water sport activity even full. It's outside Flagstaff so the surroundings are beautiful. There were some people fishing on the shore, though everywhere you read it says the... More

A polluted mud hole! don't eat the fish if you can catch any! Don't let your kids or Dogs swim in it! Serious mercury issues!

If you want to walk or wade at the lake shores; be-carfull ton of rocks and bolders. I twisted my ankle while doing this. If fishing or boating, is a great place to be. A very small lake and recent water levels have caused muddy waters. Bring a camera to take in the bueaty

If you are looking to just fish off the shore or just a nice quite time to yourself this is a nice place. Be careful what part of the lake you do choose - don't know why but there was cow pies in the section I went to - then again it may just be a one time event and... More

I like this area, as it is so peaceful and scenic. I've seen beautiful lakes and scenery before, but when the stars come out on a clear night and the moon turns the lake surface to silver, this place takes on a different kind of serenity for me.

We drove past Lake Mary while passing time before our trail ride at the Hitchin' Post. It was a very windy day, but a nice place to stop and have a quick picnic lunch. A small body of water was refreshing after desert travel.

I have fished here many times and I have caught several species of fish such as pike, crappie, and trout. The views here are absolutely beautiful and when the snow comes it is gorgeous. Several people have used Lake Mary for various water activities such as jet skiing, canoeing, and kayaking. I cant say that I blame them the surroundings... More

Lake Mary is a small artificial lake, actually two lakes, Upper Lake Mary and Lower Lake Mary. The Upper Lake has fish, including pike. The lower lake is barely a pond unless there is lots of rain and snow. People like to fish, water ski and use skiddoos. In the late summer and fall one can also catch crawdads (crayfish).... More

The view is fantastic and the kids love it here, but the fishing is terrible. Have been many times, and never any luck fishing.

We love to RV and were using a friends A-frame cabin for the weekend in MundsPark Az.Plenty of space to park our small Motorhome behind the deck area in back amongst the ponderosa pines. MP is a very nice community off the main highway I-17, just south of Flagstaff. We'd booked an RV spot on a couple occasions in the... More
