Very very helpful and I would not have gone to a few places if it had not been for their advise. Would recommend you come here first

We went to the Visitors Center mainly for souvenirs. They had a wide variety of items at reasonable prices. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This was a nice little shop that had souvenirs for sale, as well as having brochures and things. It is also a train depot, so there is lots of people going through. Good idea to buy your Grand Canyon pass there, so that you can go into the Park using the express lane. There is very limited parking, so it... More

If you have never been to Flagstaff this is the place to start your visit. Everything you need to know about the area is available here. Also, if you are going on to other parts of the state this is also an excellent place to help you plan the rest of your visit.

There are several trails to the top of Arizona's second highest mountain. We took the Kendrick Mountain Trail which is the shortest (8 miles round trip) going from 7600 ft and ending at the lookout station (10,040 ft). They have a great informative staff. Good rt 66 shop and local artisans shop. But best, is they have a walking tour that departs from the visitors center. It is wonderful. The guide has lived in Flagstaff all his life and has some great, great stories.

A great stop when planning your tip to the Grand Canyon- park passes are for sale and makes entering the park a breeze! They had a ton of brochures/resources on surrounding attractions and the staff were a wealth of information.
