The setting for the visitor setting was beautiful. It is in the old railroad depot next to the busy tracks. The staff answered all our questions and helped us make some great decisions.

There was an exhibit of an old cattle drive chuck wagon, which was run by an enthusiast. We learned a great deal and made the visit to the centre worthwhile

The Flagstaff visitor center is located along Route 66 near downtown, and is housed in what is actually the second train station built in the city (the original train station is a smaller stone building located just to the east of the existing station). The visitor center has lots of free information about local area attractions, a small gift shop... More

They can help you with anything at this place. Its next to (inside) the Amtrak station. The only downside, is that their souvenirs (and they have a ton of them) are boring. It opens at 8 am during the week (M-Sat) which is very convenient. You might be able to park temporarily at the train station, and run in to... More

We found this visitor center on historic Rte. 66. This is still a working train station. Amtrak runs through here daily shortly after 6 am. and just before 10 pm. The gift shop is interesting with train themed souvenirs and hand crafted items made by locals. There's a bench behind the station to sit and watch trains moving through Flagstaff... More

Very informative. Volunteers were knowledgable and helpful! Multiple maps and printed guides. This should be any visitors first stop in Flagstaff.

Really loved all of the help they gave - they were really under pressure as so many national parks had closed. Managed to pack my week out nonetheless! Really appreciated it! Thank you!

Quaint area located in train depot right in the heart of downtown Flagstaff. Finally found a postcard depicting the aspens in the area, and Rising Hy mustard local to the area. Good variety in selection of gifts.
