This is a cool park with several things to see and do. There were several activities going on while we were there, a horse show and mud run. There were lots of bicyclist and of course the museum. This wasn't a location that I was looking forward to visiting, but really enjoyed our time here.

We stayed for 4 days at the adjacent RV park, in the pines next to may hiking and biking trails. All of Flagstaff is easily accessible by car or even by bike if you choose. Weather was perfect and the folks who run it a very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Too many attractions to list here but you... More

We learned that this attraction is being relocated and that it is not expected to be open for quite a while, because the work is being done by volunteers. According to the front desk at the Fort Tuthill Recreation Area, nobody is hurrying to get it open.

As part of a trip to Ft Tuthill, this is quite interesting. It is pretty small, so it wouldn't really be worth the trip out there for only the Museum. But it is very well done if you are into Military themed places.....

Currently the museum is in transition to larger and better facilities which will make your visit just that much more special and informative. My family found the museum displayed pieces, supporting information and personal service outstanding. What we saw and learned was applicable for the Flagstaff area, Arizona and the US military overall.

The Fort Tuthill Military Museum is packed (wall-to-wall) with history. I took my family last year and spent nearly three hours looking, reading and talking with docents that were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Recently, the museum moved, but remains within the confines of the fairgrounds. Last weekend, we attended an outdoor event held at the museums new location and got... More

After driving around in circles - very poor signage - we found a park service agent that informed us the museum was closed. The website looked interesting, but as far aw we could tell there is not much happening for this museum. We won't go back.

This is for the military person in your life. It is very interesting and all relavent to the area, whether you live here or not. Educational and I believe there is a nominal fee and/or donations accepted to help keep it going - it is a small building but packed with items.

Intimate military museum filled with history. A must see in Flagstaff. Many unique and interesting items to look at. Small enough to see everything.

Even though I am not connected to the army, I am really interested in the history of it, and when I was in Flagstaff for a weekend, I had no doubts that I should stop-by at Fort Tuthill Military Museum. Yes, I will not hide that the place is small and prior entering I had some doubts on how it... More
