I am a young 72 yr old male who made the trip with my 48 yr old son & 49 yr old son-in-law. The trip was an experience of a lifetime. It could not have been more organized from the time I made the reservations through the completion of the trip. This organization is a customer focused unit that is... More

My dad and I went on a seven day motor trip down the Colorado River. Grand Canyon Whitewater was a great company to go with. The guides were amazing and very knowledgeable. Our main guide had been doing trips down the river for thirty years. The food was delicious the whole way. We would recommend a June trip. It can... More

Grand Canyon Whitewater provides an exceptional rafting trip on the Colorado from the pre-planning help through final steps onto the helicopter leaving the canyon at the end of the trip! We chose the 7 day motorized trip and it was perfect (except that the weather didn't cooperate, but can't control that). The Canyon is even more spectacular from this level... More

"Grand Canyon Whitewater" are an extremely professional operation. From the moment you start your booking you are supplied with all the information you require on transport, logistics and all your packing requirements. All the guides were pleasant, hard working and extremely knowledgable of the geology, nature and history of the canyon. They were also up for every bit of fun.... More

Grand Canyon Whitewater is a great organization! We couldn't believe how much fit on the raft! Our guides -- Jeff, Holly and Grant -- were fun and very knowledgeable. At the end of every day, we would stop at a bank of sand and camp there. They provided tents, cots, sleeping bags, bedding, a kitchen, a toilet area, and all... More

To get a really wide perspective of a trip like this it would be great to invite along a geologist, anthropologist, hydrologist and naturalist. To a large extent the GCW's river guides filled these roles in addition to providing a lot of lore, jokes and music when the river was slow. The Grand Canyon certainly is big but the most... More

You cannot go wrong with this trip (if you're prepared for the possibility of somewhat extreme weather, either hot or cold). The guides and fantastic and really good cooks, and the great stuff they said about their company -- well organized to make their and our lives on the river easier, dedication to making it fun AND safe, high level... Having travelled extensively and enioyed canoe and/or rafting trips in Australia, New Zealand, Africa and South America as well as led commercial multi-day 4WD tag-along trips in remote areas of Southern Africa and Australia I have a fair idea of what is required to run a good outdoor adventurous trip. Good organisation, practical, strong and well maintained equipment, plenty of... More
