I give it 5 stars even though my day in the Snowbowl was a nightmare. I unfortunately broke my left arm while Snowboarding there late in January 2014. It was my responsibility any way. Sometime, you take too much risks and have to accept the consequences! The medical staff/answer after my accident was amazing, I believe the guys did a... More

Even on a Saturday late morning, did not have to wait too long at all for a trip up the mountain! Light rain started to fall, but was mostly a nuisance. View was great but their was smoke from a fire in Sedona that did provide a smoky haze. Temperature does drop quite a bit ascending up the mountain so... More

We rode the lift up in the summer. It rained on us during the half-hour ride up, but the view from the top was amazing. Pro-tip: Stop at Bashas on the way up and buy a small box of 39 gallon trash bags. You can get 18 bags for $3. They fold up really small and fit into a pocket.... More

Just a couple of miles outside Flagstaff. Beautiful scenery....amazing views. It's a great way to spend an afternoon. Excellent family adventure. Take a sweater as it is very cool at the top. It was so peaceful, the wind in the aspens and the smell of the pines, mmmm great! I would highly recommend it. The only drawback were the filthy... More

The view is fantastic, but the wait time to get on the lift was extremely long. Waited way over an hour to get on the chairlift at the bottom of the mountain, and then waited another 40 minutes at top to get on the lift to come back down. What we thought was going to be a fun morning outing... More

Thank you for taking your time and leaving your honest comment. You must be referring to the last weekend, when we experienced record numbers of visitors and the line backed up. This could have been contributed by record temperatures in the valley and very nice weather up here. Normally the is short wait time and people can plan for a... More

I was so scared at first, but them I relaxed and I was overcome by the view. The ride back let us all in awe. It's like skydiving without a plane. Plus the guys in the office are so great. Thanks snowbowl it was the best memory of our 2 week trip.

Did the skylift to the top which with Groupon was more than worth it. Family saw deer which made it worth while. The View was amazing, however, watch the weather as rain came in suddenly and unexpectedly so the time at the top was limited. Very friendly staff. Cleanliness at the restaurant, especially the bar area left much to be... More

Got a great deal on Groupon and gave the summer chairlift ride a try. Amazing views. Could see for hundreds of miles. Weather was beautiful and it was nice and quite. You could hear the breeze in trees and birds singing. Ride lasted about 30 min each way. Park rangers at the top to answer questions. Tip: Its a little... More

Thank you so much for your positive feedback! We appreciate you making us a part of your vacation. Please consider coming back again - either to ride the lift during the fall colors or in winter to test your skiing or riding skills. Either way, you will enjoy the beauty of northern Arizona, clean air and a plenty of sunshine.... More

Arizona Snowbowl is the coolest place in Arizona, literally. The temperatures at the top (at 11,500 ft) are usually 10-20 degrees cooler than in Flagstaff, making it sometimes 40-50 degrees cooler than in the valley. We always recommend dressing in layers (just in case). Having sunglasses and sunscreen is also always a good idea. Thank you for making us a... More

Our first time skiing and we had a blast. My 6 year old took ski lessons and he loved it. His instructor was great, although I did notice one or two that weren't too good. Beautiful views. It wasn't as cold as I thought it would be and for that reason the snow is artificially made. Great first time experience.

Hooray to the first timers! We are so glad to hear that your son loved his first days on the snow. Snowbowl is proud to offer one of the best and largest beginner terrains in the Southwest. Many think that it should be cold on the snow, but our skiers and riders enjoy mild temperatures, over 260 inches of snow... More
