This past winter I decided to take a trip up to Snowbowl with a small group of friends to settle the debate of Snowbowl and Sunrise. My friends and I woke up at the crack of dawn in the middle of December to take a small road trip up to Flagstaff, Arizona. By the time we packed our bags, loaded... More

Unfortunately, they just have no lift capacity. Other than that, it's a great hill. Go during the week and you can get some runs in. Other wise, go to Sunrise with the high speed quad. More

We drove up to the Snowbowl during our visit to the Grand Canyon. The drive is beautiful and you get some great views. We did not ski but we parked at the two lodge areas to see and enjoy the sights. There was an area where the snow collected away from the slopes and the kids had a blast playing... More

This is a small ski mountain. The slopes are OK, but they need to install some newer, faster lifts. We put our grandaugther in a class. They grouped her with first timer kids. The instructors wanted to cut short my wife's class because there was only 2 students. Less than professional overall. Go to Colorado, Utah, or Montana if you... More

The Arizona Snowbowl is a great beginner's resort. My hubby & I hadn't been skiing since we were in college - many, many years ago! This was also our young one's first time to snowboard. The ski school had received really good reviews so we were confident they would have a great day! They did learn the basics, but both... More

While mother nature weather has not blessed snowbowl this year with an abundant amount of snow, it is just enough to pull off skiing/boarding. This was our first year and first impression with a ski school for our oldest child, who is 4. We enrolled her in all day ski school. My concerns were eased throughout the day as we... More

We took the kids (16 and 12) and they took to snowboarding much better than us grownups, but the whole day was still very fun. The staff was helpful and patient and the lesson was great. More

Took a quick drive up to Snowbowl after our trip on the Williams Polar Express train ride. Snowbowl wasn't open yet, but still plenty of the white stuff on the ground for the kids to play in. There is a parking area up near the top where you can park for free even when it's closed and allows people to... More
