This place is really amazing! From the bottom, where we bought the tickets, to the top, with an amazing view, everything was great. The people that work there are really friendly and gave me good advices on how to get to the top and not freeze to death. The lift is good, we didn't have any problems going either up... More

Although Arizona Snowbowl is a mnedium sized ski area, it has vertical drop rivaling Colorado ski sites and is by far the most in AZ. Don't believe the negative reviews you will see about Snowbowl. These are politically motivated smear campaigns and Snowbowl is a great ski area!

Drive up to the snowbowl, and when you are just about to the top, follow the signs to the parking lot for the Kachina Trail. It offers marvelous vistas of the entire area, and we visited at the height of the aspen colors! Wow. Thrilling to experience. The ~6 mile trail is well-marked and I would advise taking water along... More

I don't think the lift is still running scenic chair lift rides anymore, but you should call and check. The views were amazing with many of the trees near the base changing colors (some were yellow and orange, a very few were red, and then most were evergreens as the elevation got higher). I highly recommend heading out in the... More

This is the most personable place to learn and ski. The mountain is quaint enough to not get lost, yet challenging enough to make the hair on the back of your neck stick up. The lodge is adorable and the staff like family.

Took the family for a trip up north to see what fall looks like (not much of that in the desert), and enjoyed lots of amazing scenery; beautiful aspens and blue skies. The line was pretty long, about one hour to get on the lift, and then 30 minutes to the top. From the top, we saw the north rim... More

Took a ride on the ski lift and it was so peaceful. 30 minutes up and down. There was no snow, but I loved it anyway.

The Snowbowl is not only for skiing. During the summer, it's a beautiful place to hike. A half hour chair lift ride to the top is also fun. But if the trees have changed color in the fall - head up there. Spectacular foliage.

I am sure when ski season is here that there is plenty going on but today it was just a lot of tourists out to see the aspens in the fields. It was lovely and I know the ski lift ride is wonderful if you get a chance to go to the top and take in the views. Come bring... More
