Loved the idea of a chair lift when we saw it in the magazine and it was well worth the trip op the mountain. Extremely well organized, before boarding you can buy great roll up blankets for $ 15 in the gift shop, in case it gets cold along the way. Defenitely cold once on top of the mountain, but... More

Great scenery! From the drive up to the Ski area to the top & back. 11,510 ft is amazing! Well worth the 1hr spent waiting in line. Met some fun folks while waiting in line & that made the time pass quickly. Volunteer Rangers at the top were friendly & full of information. Highly recommend!

Purchased the groupon for the chairlift and absolutely LOVED it! Definitely not for anyone with a fear of heights! The views not only on the chairlift itself but at the top and bottom of it were absolutely amazing! Definitely recommend trying this at least once!

We took the chair lift ride during the summer after visiting Flagstaff over Memorial Day weekend. The best time to get there is the minute they open! When we finished chair lift ride (it lasts about an hour), the line for the lift was insanely long and we were happy we'd shown up early. The view is beautiful and the... More

Excellent summer fun, and worth the approx 30 ride to the top for the views. You dwarf everything around you from the top of there! Ride was $15 each adult, and free for those over 70. Think it was cheaper, or free for children up to a certain age too. My parents made the most of their free pass to... More

Walked 5 miles up snowbowl road. Amazing landscape and beautiful weather. Maybe someday I will go during the winter.

Take the chairlift up to 11,500 feet and try to breath LOL. Great for experiencing the altitude. This is where you can access the Kachina Trail Mt Humpherys Trail and the Great Arizona Trail which travels the whole state of Arizona from Mexico border to Utah. Great trail to hike in segments unless you want to do the whole 800... More

Close to town, visitor centre and chairlift to the top. Spectacular views and the staff at the top were chatty pointing out places of interest.

My little Nephew is such a dare devil for a 2 year old. He kept wanting to go sledding on every step slope he saw. :) this place is awesome snow year around, always dress warm and double up on those socks! haha

When traveling during the summer, get there early and ride the chairlift to the top. Beautiful views of northern Arizona and you can see the North Rim of the Grand Canyon on a clear day. Take good hiking shoes and hike around the top. Take a light jacket as temperatures vary quite a bit once you're at the top of... More
