I usually ski in Utah but decided to stay in AZ this year. The Snowbowl staff is super slow. The lines were long and the ski lift would stop every 20 feet due to people falling at the top. The ski lift has no safety arm or foot rest to make the ride up a little safer and enjoyable. Oh,... More

My friend and I did the easy and scenic 3 hour drive from Phoenix up to Flagstaff for the last weekend of spring skiing. Beautiful views of the mountain from everywhere. We lucked out on weather because we had heard that when it is windy, some of the lifts can be really dicey and scary like you'll be blown off.... More

Went on the ski lift to the top of the mountain. The ride was smooth and the views amazing. Wore a light jacket because the weather up top is cool. Saw a pair of Clark's Nutcrackers. Noisy birds which are fun to watch. They love it up top. The rangers are easy to talk to and very informative. When we... More

We all took lessons, however, some of us should have been placed on some beginner slopes and other were ready to ride the lifts and take on the moderate slopes. The beginners did not fare well, but the younger, quick learners and more athletic did far better. The instructors were not in tune with all of our needs.

I live in Phoenix and this was going to be the first year I brought my kids, 5 and 7 yrs old, to see and play in snow. We were very excited and had been watching the local news coverage to see when the ski area opened. The news showed pictures of a snowcapped mountain and deep runs, but when... More

Opening day was a joke. I went up there on Nov. 28th and all they had was a tiny patch of snow with about a 6 inch base on a couple runs. If you want to have to repair your skis or snowboard, then this is the place for you. Ice, rocks, and grass. They should not even have been... More

This place is really amazing! From the bottom, where we bought the tickets, to the top, with an amazing view, everything was great. The people that work there are really friendly and gave me good advices on how to get to the top and not freeze to death. The lift is good, we didn't have any problems going either up... More
