Probably the best value of this whole trip. With a groupon, the price per person was under $12. The view on the ride was astounding. You finish at the top at an elevation of 11,500. The ride itself is very peaceful and relaxing. The whole family loved this, and we would do it again and again. Even at full price.

The day started out cool and sunny. Our idea was to take the ride to the top then take a hike on one of the many trails in the area. Mother nature had a different idea. We had a great ride to the top - sun was hot and the air was cool. I loved the view, but have to... More

I have never been to the snowbowl in the winter but I do know that taking the lift up in the fall is a truly magical experience. The views cant be beat. if your timing is right then the aspens contrasted with the pines will be absolutely beautiful.

We went around 11 am, the sun was warm that day, make sure to bring hats, sunblock, light jacket, water and a camera. It was nice and quiet, there was only a little bit of snow on the way up. The trail at the top was closed off, which was a bummer, I really wanted to get to the top... More

Decided to get out o the valley heat and drove up to Flagstaff with our niece, who was visiting from Florida. What better place to admire the mountain views than the Arizona Snowbowl! Beautiful weather, enjoyable ride up the lift and great views! Even had a few patches of snow at the top to play in (June 20th) - she... More

This is a great way to see the view from the top of the mountain without actually climbing it. Everyone is very friendly -- and the Rangers at the top are outstanding. The Ranger I spoke with shared a lot of information about the surrounding area, and I'm already planning my next hiking trip to Flagstaff based on his suggestions.

This attraction is now closed during the week. We drove several miles from the highway to reach the chairlift and learned that it was closed AFTER WE ARRIVED. It was a beautiful, clear summer day. There were 8 young children and four adults in our party. We were all very disappointed. They say it is open Friday to Monday. I... More

We visited the Snowbowl June and it was great. Nice 20 min ride to the top where it was 47 degrees. Looked around for a bit, took some pics and back down. Kids enjoyed the ride for sure. I get a little tense on these chairlifts since I'm a little nervous with heights but after we got going the nerves... More

We were not aware that the chair lift hours have been reduced. During the summer months, it now only operates Friday to Monday. We were there on a Tues., along with lots of other people, and to our dismay, we could not ride the lift. And you could not hike up as there is construction and maintenance going on with... More

Hello Mary! Sorry to hear that you visited us when we were closed. We have not been operating midweek for several seasons now and are open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Is it possible that you may have misread Friday through Monday and thought we were open Monday through Friday? We apologize for the confusion, but we will be... More
