Stones River Greenway trails are great for walking or riding your bike. Scenery is always pretty no matter what time of the year. Being a history buff, the proximity to the battlefields and knowing you are in a historical place is humbling. Gateway Island is very pretty and holds a special part of my heart as we were married here.... More

I love these wonderful trails! Beautiful place for walks, biking and running. Shady, safe and clean! Great for the entire family. Thompson road trail head is my favorite and they have a canoe small boat ramp at that entrance.

A great resource for the community for biking, walking, and running. Miles of paved trailway that is well maintained.

I love the greenway. It's great to walk, take your dog, or just sit on one of the benches and watch the river go by. There are many terai heads, so you can see a different part of it each time, if you want. I go usually at least once a week! There's playgrounds, battleground sites, dog " bark" park,... More

The Stones River Greenway offers a great place to walk, cool shady paved walkways [not all the... More

The entire walkway is so lovely. It is parallel to the Stones River. There are playgrounds along the way just off the paths, facilities for "pitstops" and even a bark park. I use it often and it is well traveled and there is alwayd a friendly face.

This is a great place to walk, bike, have a picnic and enjoy nature. There are many trailheads where you may begin your experience and approximately 17 miles of paved greenway with mile markers so you can track your progress.

Love to walk or bike? This is just the thing. Appropriately six miles of street like pathway, excellent for bikeing or walking. Scenic waterway on either side with shaded areas

Great place to ride bikes or take a walk. Lots of trees to keep you cool in the summer and many areas are near the river. Beautiful and scenic.
