The Discovery Center! I have spent many happy hours here with my granddaughter! They have it all, starting with weekly shows featuring a wide variety of small animals. There is a center for drawing and various craft projects. The Center has a light room for shadow play. There is a room with a train which travels through a replica of... More

If you have little ones that get bored easily take them to the recovery center..no boredome there. Two floors of scientific discovery and experiment for the little ones. They have small animals also that they can learn about.

This is a great family place. Lots of plea for the kids to play. You can lose you kid quickly on busy days so keep that in mind. If you have very young kids they have a door locked area for babies and for toddlers.

I took my just turned six-year-old grandson here; he had a great time and so did I. It was easy to find and there was plenty of free parking on the Monday we visited. Except for the room full of model trains encased in glass with 3 or 4 buttons the kids could push to move something along the track,... More

I have been to many children's museums across the country and this is not a great one... average for young kids who don't know any better, but not entertaining for older children or adults... the large building tries to make it look like they have a lot, but really they don't, only takes about a half hour go walk thru... I love the Discovery Center, but more importantly my kids love it. There's a great play area for ages 5 and under called Tiny Town. There's a grocery store, play house, post office, etc with toys and props for imaginative play. Also in this area is a tree house and a special room for 2 and under that's a "soft... More

The Discovery Center is great for young children, lots of hands on stuff to do there. Pack a lunch and eat outside at a picnic table, then take a walk a round the creek/river. Lots to see in the water, bring your camera. You could spend several hours here having fun.

These are great places for kids to visit and explore new things, however they take a real beating from the children and a more concerted effort should be made to keep the equipment running. It's a disappointment when parts are missing or sound effects don't work. The admission price should be used for this purpose and if it's insufficient, increase... More

The Discovery Center has an absolutely AMAZING amount of variety built into a fabulously integrated facility. Arts & Crafts, vehicles, mechanics, aviation, forces of nature, community locations (stores, post office, grocery, etc.). You name it, it's there! Take your children for a fun, educational experience - and try not to have too much of a good time yourself!

We found the Discovery Center through trip advisor !! Could not get a hotel in Nashville so stayed close in Murfreesboro. We had our granddaughter with us and looked for things to do In Murfreesboro instead of driving into Nashville. PERFECT find at the Discovery Center. It had many hands on activities.. art, water table, musical exhibit, 2 story slide,... More
