A good museum but really for those 8 and under. Our 10 year old niece enjoyed it but most hands on activities were geared toward pre-schools or grades 1-3.

The kids always enjoy visiting the DC. They also enjoyed the new addition out back - lots of fun things to do!

Very good area for children. Have a small area for children less than five as well which is very nice! Open area for them to run and play and also has other activities going on like story telling, crafts, and other learning activities.

We bought season tickets when my children were younger, because we were told that the exhibits change every so often. The only thing I noticed changing over the year we had our passes, was that the exhibits started missing pieces and the interactive exhibits stopped working. To look at this place from the outside, you would think, wow! This is... More

The Discovery Center! I have spent many happy hours here with my granddaughter! They have it all, starting with weekly shows featuring a wide variety of small animals. There is a center for drawing and various craft projects. The Center has a light room for shadow play. There is a room with a train which travels through a replica of... More

If you have little ones that get bored easily take them to the recovery center..no boredome there. Two floors of scientific discovery and experiment for the little ones. They have small animals also that they can learn about.

This is a great family place. Lots of plea for the kids to play. You can lose you kid quickly on busy days so keep that in mind. If you have very young kids they have a door locked area for babies and for toddlers.

I took my just turned six-year-old grandson here; he had a great time and so did I. It was easy to find and there was plenty of free parking on the Monday we visited. Except for the room full of model trains encased in glass with 3 or 4 buttons the kids could push to move something along the track,... More

I have been to many children's museums across the country and this is not a great one... average for young kids who don't know any better, but not entertaining for older children or adults... the large building tries to make it look like they have a lot, but really they don't, only takes about a half hour go walk thru...
