We found the Discovery Center through trip advisor !! Could not get a hotel in Nashville so stayed close in Murfreesboro. We had our granddaughter with us and looked for things to do In Murfreesboro instead of driving into Nashville. PERFECT find at the Discovery Center. It had many hands on activities.. art, water table, musical exhibit, 2 story slide,... More

My family always has a great time when we go to Discovery Center. My boys love the water play, the slide, the fire truck, and it seems that they always find something new to explore. We prefer this center over the science center in downtown Nashville. It is not as crowded and overall less stressful. If your kids get out... More

They are a great place to bring kids. They change the exhibits upstairs every month so you never know what to expect but it's alw fun. They have wooden trains for the kids to play with, a Lionel train that runs 2-3 times a day, a big slide that takes you to the lower level, a tiny toy town for... More

The Discovery Center offers families with children a highly creative and interactive experience through multiple displays and learning centers. Well worth everyone's time

The trains don't start on time. There are missing pieces in exhibits. The exhibits themselves are old or out of order. This place needs a major overhaul.

We have been taking our grandchildren to the Discovery Center since they could walk.. They have the toddler room for littles 5 and under and they can stay busy in there for quite a while. Then there is the rest of the center, which has many interesting areas and mind challenging areas for the children. Whether they like to play... More

This is a bright, attractive place where kids are free to be kids. The exhibits are almost entirely hands-on and cover a very wide range of interests for both boys and girls. It is possible that your child could get wet, sweaty, or find some paint very creatively placed on their clothing or on their noses, so dress appropriately. There... More

I've taken my grandson (and occasionally a buddy) to Discovery Center many times over the past seven or so years when he visits from out of town. He absolutely loves to go there and there's always something different to interest him. There's wildlife (you can pet a snake), classic cars, a make-believe supermarket, a water feature (which never fails to... More

Very nice clean facility. The lady at the reception desk was super friendly. Lots of neat exhibits for the kids to interact, learn and play in. Very educational. The model train wasn't running when we were there but it was very cool to look at. Spend a couple of hours or take all day!
