Was surprised the mall was so empty on a hot Saturday with back to school shopping, but then realized half the stores are gone. We walked to the opposite side of Boscovs to find most stores vacant, even the other anchor store. It's a shame. Even the food court was vacated with just 2 offerings and maybe 4 or 5... More

So much to offer at the shopping centre. I had never been to America before this time and everything does seem a lot different to back home. But a great centre maybe some more shops would do the trick

This is such a sad location. A beautiful mall with so much potential that's going to waste. Hopefully the new owner can bring some new life to this mall that is such a great spot.

We were here to see the "Welcome to Scranton" sign. Wow. The Mall is a ghosttown. The staff of the stores that were open were very friendly.

This was a nice Mall.in its day. However, through the years it has gone downhill. It is not worth stop. Go to Viewmont Mall.

Boscov's is quite nice but the rest of the mall is pretty disappointing. Many closed store fronts. Two choices in food court. Pretty depressing.

Wish we had skipped this stop on our visit to Scranton. Can't see this place open much longer. More closed stores and vacant spaces than stores that were actually operating on our recent very short visit. The food options were next to none with only two places in the food court open. Not sure if this was a bustling place at... More

The only reason the mall is famous is it's in the TV show "the office". I made a visit there but I sadly found out there are so many empty stores. So many stores closed I guess because of no visit. It's very disappointing.

They are loosing a lot of stores. It's very quiet. Not a lot of children or teenagers. Lots of older people. It's a mall that seems ghostly. But I like not having to push my way through the crowds, so it works for me. I hope they find more stores. A real nice mall though.

First if your visiting Scranton, make sure you stop by city hall and offer thanks for the high tax rate on gross sales that makes doing business in Scranton not business friendly (notice that many of the retailers are doing business outside of the city limits?). Next, take it off life support and let it die a respectable death. Since... More
