Nice walk

Nice path with pretty vistas to keep you company. Sure beats getting on any machine in the hotel gym.

The trail around Lake Scranton is approx 3 miles, perfect for those training for a race or just looking to get some exercise. It has great views of the lake and surroundings, with little inclines. In the warmer months, you will see deer walking along or near the path right by you. The only downfall is there are no restrooms,... More

If you like fresh air, beautiful scenery, lite cardio walking and an abundance of wild life go walk the lake. Some people run it, some walk or stroll, others just mingle with the animal taking pictures. A gem of peace and beauty.

Nice lake, with little lighting if your are running in the evening. Be careful, don't go without a flashlight as it may take you longer than you think to get around the lake. Beautiful in the Fall!!3.5 miles around

This is about a 4 mile trail around Lake Scranton. It is paved and mostly level. Makes a great place to get some exercise and is close to downtown Scranton.

Lake Scranton is a pleasant place to get in a little exercise. The path is paved all around the lake so no worries there. There is really not much there other than the path. There are a couple of vantage points but nothing beyond that. I am new to Scranton and found that the parking lot was hard to find... More

The asphalt 3.5 mile loop trails are well maintained. We enjoyed our brisk after lunch walk. Wind chill makes it colder the closer you get to the lake. Do note that water sports are not allowed at the lake.

My favorite place to walk and enjoy the outdoors. The scenery is beautiful and might even spot a deer feeding in the wood. Truly enjoyable!
