This school has a lot to offer. It is a nice mix of new and old. Its education is excellent in the Jesuit tradition but certainly not limited to Catholics, or Christians. The students, while sometimes "being students" (as most any college) are also encouraged by various outreaches in services and similar programs to be involved in local activities. The... More

I work at the University of Scranton. The services and education provided to students is outstanding. Every student is considered special and receives much help and nurturing to succeed. Students are all encouraged to room on campus so each student gets to know as many other students as possible.

Beautiful school, excellent staff, great variety of classes. This is an excellent school, especially if you are looking to get into Medical School after. Lots of up to date dorms. A relatively pricey school but a good investment.

Lovely campus, even has light cleaning service in the dorm room. Everything to love except the tutition and board and very little money on the table. But welcome to private college in the USA!

The university has grown incredibly and continues to enjoy a good reputation, especially for graduate school placement. The campus is well maintained.

I was surprised to see that Scranton was ranked #2 with "Most friendliest students" in 2012. I should not be surprised as there are no fraternities or sororities on campus. Good looking campus. The student body and campus is growing in size, especially the past few years.

Hey this is a great school. They make Scranton look good! The kids are real nice. Lots of progams for the local folks; (us). The music department doesn't exist. Yet, Cheryl Boga bring in top names from NY and blends them with students, faculty, and others to produce a fantastic selection of venues through the year, and it's FREE.

Students are out of control, they do not respect the city of scranton which they visit when in UofS. They get drunk and have no respedt for Authority.
