Ever since I was a child Houdini has been a hero of mine. I frist read about the museum several years ago and have been meaning to go for years. In honor of Houdini's death my fiancee and I made the trip up on Halloween. Unfortunately we arrived late due to traffic but we were still allowed in and joined... More

A fun place&show. You can sense the owners love for their show-bizz lives. It's a bit dated& carney styled. The museum has a over-whelming amount of Houdini stuff. I was happy to hear they have plans for a new museum that is larger. Over-all it was entertaining.Bravo&Dorothy are seasoned performers and put on a good show. (they levitated my daughter and... I wanted to love this place ... everything about it seemed perfect. We came here with very high expectations after reading all of the amazing reviews. We are semi-local and based on our experience we were hoping to book my son's next birthday party. First and most important: do not go based on the age recommendations on their website. This... This place is as interesting as Houdini himself. It is part museum, part attic, part Vaudeville, part Carnival show and lots of magic! I don't think I stopped smiling from the minute I walked in. You enter into the museum and are taken on a tour of two rooms which have very interesting facts, articles and artifacts on Houdini, how... More

This was definitely one of the most entertaining experiences I have had. My nieces and I enjoyed our visit from start to finish It doesn't look like much from the outside, but don't let that deter you. It's well worth the money and visit.

This is tough to review. The museum and show are set in clearly a very old house and the ambiance reflect that. the collection and knowledge of Bravo and Dorothy reflect that. Here's where it gets tough: from a kid's perspective, the 3+ hours you have to spend are enjoyable, fun and very engaging. From an adult's perspective, it drags... More

This was not quite what we expected, but it was great fun. The 2 owners put on a great show and clearly have a love for what they do. Takes about 3 hours for the whole production and it was an entertaining way to spend the afternoon.

This was not a planned stop but it was worth the detour. It's a bit corny but if you like the cpy, roadside attractions then you'll really like this museum. It's really cool and you'll enjoy the history and showmanship.

This place will make your wallet disappear and cut your attention span in half. Long, non sequitur rambling anecdotes that you can't escape from because they parking lot is crowded as tight as the "theater" is jammed with folding chairs. The rambling stories make the first half hour of mandatory television watching seem like a distant dream. Part Brady Bunch... More

It is important to arrive at 1. The show begins with an informative film, followed by a tour of two rooms packed with extraordinary Houdini memorabilia. This is followed by several magic shows. The show is professional, tongue-in-cheek, includes a bit of selling of magic tricks (buy them!). The experience reminds one of a mix of vaudeville, Las Vegas and... More
