Forest Park is a very beautiful park in Springfield, Ma. It's a huge park. Even bigger than the average person may think after visting it. In grade school we had a program called ECOs where they take us in to the hills and show us around forest and teach us to build shelters and bring some nature to us city... more

The zoo at Forest Park is a perfect 1/2 day get-away for a young child. The entry price is $4.50 for adults and even less for children. The zoo area is rather small, but there are numerous animal exhibits - several with monkeys and big cats and many with farm animals. The gift shop sells "crackers" to feed the animals.... more
