We visited the Memorial during our recent stay in Springfield to see the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship. This along with the adjacent Science and Connecticut Valley Museums more than adequately filled in time between basketball games at the nearby Mass Mutual Center. Our son really enjoyed the sculptures more

A nice place for a pit stop, but it was a little tricky to find. It is in a courtyard near the science museum. We stopped by on our way from Cooperstown to Boston. more

The Dr. Seuss Memorial is a great little place to stop and experience a 3-D version of some of your favorite children's stories. The memorial is located in a small park in the middle of a complex of buildings known as the "Quadrangle" which includes some museums and attractions.
